  • Nice vid! Why is the fifth wheel set way up back?

  • very nice to know this truck is still around

  • So is this the actual truck from the movie?

  • Yes, one of the 4 tractors and one of the 2 trailers. The other trailer was blown up on the bridge. 2 tractors were destroyed/parted out in filming. We also have the other surviving tractor that is getting ready to undergo restoration.

  • Great video!

  • Loved the video and loved the comments in the video, they made me laugh. Loved this movie since I was a toddler and have always wanted to visit south west USA (I know this was filmed in the midwest) since seeing this movie.

  • The Mack looks awesome, great vid to! When I first found this movie in the early 90's i wore two VHS tapes out from watching it so much. Would love to see it in person.

  • Must say you've done a great job restoring this icon.

  • man i love this movie....... convoy.

Rubberduck is one of my heros.

i want to see his mack in real. This truck is sooo cool and i love your clip.

  • sorry cant read that fast im just a stupid hilbilly and proud of it nice truck

  • Truley fantastic, you must be very proud to have this opportunity, I would love that. Is it the actual one from the movie then?

  • Great job on that truck! As a Mack nut,I would love to get my hands on it! lol Just for fun,it would be neat to fill the trailer just to see if the front end would stay on the ground with the 5th wheel back that far.............AL

P.S. The creaper cops arent on my christmas card list either! lol

  • Das ist ja sowas von geil, bin ein großer Fan!

  • great video and when i was younger i used to play this song all the time on an album and when i say younger it wasnt to long ago. my dad used to drive a truck but it was long before i was born. and as for the 5 dlr a gallon diesel i think its mainly due to so many smaller pickups with diesels susch as the f350 and and doges and chevys. people ran out and bought one of those cause they couldnt afford or drive the real thing.

  • hmm......it just needs the white kangaro bar on it and it'll be perfect

  • do a tour, &charge for rides. we need to see this truck!!.

  • Thats great to see, one of the trucks

survived. I got a nice flash back to the good old days of trucking.

    cheers Haustan.

  • Convoyduel, you should get Kris Kristofferson and Ali magraw and Earnest bourgnine photographed or filmed with your mack, that would be the cherry on the cake!! maybe a truck show in aid of charity that would be great to see.

  • I HAVE to come see this truck! I loved watching this movie as a kid and just rewatched it through netflix. Fantastic job guys, you made my day!

  • Man you guys are my heros!!! Thought I was the only one cant wait to come see her one day!!! Is the yellow dump truck that is suposed to be from convoy for real and do you know if its for sale?

    Cheers!

  • WHAT would it take to get a ride in R.D.'s old Mack? I think i might absolutely loose my mind if i could cruise down the road riding shotgun.......

  • 1:04-1:16

    AWESOME!

  • iv seen this truck at a truck show

  • LOVE IT!! Where in Mo are you guys??? I would love to come and see that old girl!

  • We're in St. Louis. The truck is on display at the Museum of Transportation in southwest St. Louis County.

  • Thanks for the info! Next time I get that way Ill stop in for sure!

  • Total feje man

  • truck looks great

  • brill i thik it amazin : }

  • Who is driving the truck in this video? He or she is awfully, awfully good!!

  • Some of it is me, some of it is Mike. I had to do the u-turns. Mike was worried I'd punch him if he hurt the truck.

  • Thanks for the smile :)

  • "Quack Quack!" Thanks for making this brings back a lot of memories as a young kid when that movie came out. There few American Hero's out there any more and Chris was one of them. Love to have a ride in that Duck some day and get to put the hammer down.

  • Old dog would look alot better with aluminum budds on the front.

  • thats amazing

    love the u turn

that truck has aged well to think its 0ver 30 years old

your roads look so big & empty

  • good video

  • dude u got the accual truck

  • Great Job! 10 - 4!

  • that is sooo awsome, my dad drove one identical to the Duck's...a few years later its was the Snowman's KW he was driving, he may be a little obsessive lol

  • god I loved it :)

  • nice truck and nice song

  • OH SNAP!!!!! I been wishing I could recreate the truck ever since I was a little boy. Ok How much do you want for that bad ass truck =D.

    Excellent!!

  • Great Video. Truck looks great. Thanks for saving it.

  • is your truck still located around the st. louis area?

  • forgot something. Even though the trailer's empty did you still need a CDL with Haz to drive it arround?

  • I had no idea there was one left. Wow. I remember seeing the movie in the 80's and have it taped on a video. GREAT JOB!

  • i have to say i loved the movie and the truck.. sweet.. but it need the push bar on the front love to see the inside if you can show us..

  • NICE work man ;)

you going to put a bull-bar on it, like in the movie?

  • Why did Mike have Vaseline on hand?

  • That is absolutely awsome! I kept popping back to your website to see how you are getting on with it, and I saw this vid! I watched Convoy so much when I was younger here in the UK that I actually wore-out the video tape! Nice to see, thanks!!

  • As a 22 year veteran trucker this video is great. You have to film this truck pulling in and out of truck stops and the drivers reactions.

  • That would be a very boring video. We get no reaction whatsoever. It is extremely rare to get any comments or reactions from other drivers.

  • I would I love that truck my dad had one when I was young. I'm up and down I-70 all the time running between Chi-town and K.C. hope to see you out there.

  • Really? I'd throw myself in front of you on the freeway just get a glance of the Mighty Duck. I hope every european trucker with some sort of respect for themselves would too =P Enjoyed your video. Thanks.

  • I seen convoy 50 times now and its the best, awesome truck, keep up the good job!!!

  • thats beautiful man!

they just dont build them like that no more - wish i could of been there to see it in person....

  • awesome to see the original truck a friend wanted to build a replica in new zealand

  • oops I mean that it was sad that these machines "no longer" roam the highways anymore sorry about that.

  • Man that thing is soo cool.its sad that these great machines roamed the highways in droves. back when they built REAL "18 wheelers" I was telling some Mad Max buddies of mine about this recreation and how the Mack from "The ROAD WARRIOR" should be replicated. hey basically its'The Rubber Duck" from HELL LOL

  • That's just incredible what you've done to restore that truck and trailers. How do you find where they were?? My favorite truck of all time! Good job! Are you planning to put the bull bar on??

  • You never see those trucks anymore. I've been looking for someone who is a great modder for video games like San Andreas to do that model of the truck with the guard on the front.

  • cool....but what would be OVER THE TOP, even better than CONVOY......a replica of the 1974 Kenworth W900A from "Smokey and the Bandit" snowman truck....I'm looking to buy one post it once it gets up!

  • WOW!Simply Awesome! You have really built the exact replica of the convoy mack.Hollywood should be calling anyday for the remake of convoy part2. Nice job on the truck!

  • Thanks, but its really not a replica. We just rebuilt what was left.

  • What engine and 'box are you running in that thing? I have a soft spot for the 700, always thought the Convoy truck was a 600 but hey, mistakes can be made huh?

  • NTC350 BC2 with a 12513.

  • its so good to see a real truck on the road!!! i want it!!

  • BTW. I may Have One acutly. My grandpa Used to drive.

  • OMG dude Rubber Ducks truck dude where did U find it?

  • this is wicked awesome i wish there was a Jerry Reed snowman kenworth replica out there somewhere.....

  • Amazing!!!

  • Badass.

  • wow gd job!

  • WOW.... the U-turn just gave me a flashback. The truck is probobly one of the best replicas i have ever seen right down to the uneven air-horns.... HOWEVER..... its missing one minor detail............. the BULLBAR. And I know Mr. Bruno is probobly working on that as we speak.

  • i am Green with envy right now,I really want to try to find one more survivin Rs700L or i can get a simular R700 ans mak elook like the Mack T-T if i can even find one of those remaing bueatys T-T
