Saw Dylan & the Band on the 1974 Planet Waves tour -- the show I saw (Seattle) was stellar, although Garth totally blew the intro to "Wheels on Fire" which cracked up the rest of the group.
People don't know that The Beatles rented the house next to where The Band and Bob stayed and that they all jammed there together...Garth recorded this historic meeting and collaboration but lawyers prevented any possible release of these tapes.. Then these tapes were lost in a fire Garth had at his Zuma Beach compound home that he was fortunate himself to escape.. Just imagine hearing these tapes..damn music attorneys..
@lordkoos Ya think..? Of course I agree in hindsight..you know it was Garth who recorded the famous basement tapes he still has that machine I Revox if I remember correctly..I've seen it..
I was lucky enough to see Dylan and The Band the very last time they played together in Philadelphia, PA at The Spectrum while in high school. Great stuff!!!
was scorsese filming this gh/rm????? amazing, 61 is differnt cool version and mornings/Pity is RR punching up with awesome solos. mornings is a huge highlight among a smoking collection.
Just beautiful! Great sound and this deserves to be more widely seen and heard. Dylan and the Band are sounding very much in form! Thanks for posting :)
And ya know who the stars are.

@DuneAquaViva Safety copies would have been a good idea, especially for that session....
