  • puro sentimiento viva el reggae viva bob marleyyyy ...... from tijuana mexico 420 grifotess

  • speak happiness

  • I lived in Jamaica, and from what I know... we used baldheads to talk about any white people...

  • bob marley est eternel tu rester à jamais pour nous les africains, la plus grande fierte et un exemple à suivre

  • "......hatred you reward for our love, telling us of your god above..." GENIUS!

  • Listen my Brotha!!! this is reggae, this is Roots this is Culture...This is Bob Marley!!!

  • Here comes the white man ....coming with his white plan

  • Chase dem crazy blonde heads right outta town

  • It's amazing how he weaves from Crazy Baldheads to Running away and back seamlessly. This is impecable musicianship because it is hard to do even for professional musicians. Marley and the Wailers make it look and sound effortless.

  • they were professionals...lol

  • I realize that; and thank you for stating the obvious. My point is that even for profesional musicians such as they, weaving two songs together and perfectly blending them is not a given. Now have a nice life.

  • Bob Marley was one off. There will never be another - only impersonators

  • never will be another

  • ive been listening to old bob there since i was a kid,and to this very day his music still stirs my soul,i think this man was sent to us from a higher plain :)

  • timeless :)

  • yes

  • Genial el tema... Pelancura al maximo

  • this lyric has come to me twice in my dreams at very difficult times in my life

and the message was very clear both times.

you cant run away from yourself

  • Try forcedownload for those who would like to download this video..Marley rule by the love he placed in our hearts!

  • I wish he did the little call in the beginning on the studio version live!!!!

  • I don't think Marley's intent was to preach hate, but bring awareness to a society oblivious to true world we live in. I think he was saying don't push your political and religious views on me. Jah Rastafari hate no man, again Jah is love. Jah Bless

  • actually talking of those in governments, administrations, bankers..you know those ol' crusty elites who dies and has nothing else.

  • where to downlood this video???????

  • yes yes.we must chase dem out a yah.damm baldheads

  • Hmmm ....Dem kkkrazi ....Dem kkkrazi ..we gonna chase dem crazy blond heads outta town

  • Comment removed

  • As a caucasian born in 1968 I take no responsability for the deeds of those before me and consider it very ignorent to consider ALL caucasions part of the unfortunate mistakes of those who came before me. I love Bob Marley and have for many years and I feel that my life choices and approach to all people would be considered acceptable to Bob himsels, as they should to anyone...no matter the color or nation of oragin.

  • The point is we still live in a society, hell in a world, that still glorifies our image, and gives us privilege, and is still terribly in favorable of us. Even if we didn't ask for this illgotten privilege, even if we see our western white culture has a hurtful imperialistic machine, we, as Caucasians, are born with a responsibility to resist that culture and to ultimately dismantle it. If anything, those of us aware have MORE responsibility.

    Black is beautiful.

  • "unfortunate mistakes"-...wtf you kidding?? Cold calculated decisions made by your people weren't mistakes.

You benefit everyday and every time you deny acknowledgment&involvement in your forefathers devilism.

Chase those crazy blond heads right out of town!!!!!!!!!

  • I never denied acknowledgement or involvement. It is now and will continue to be a thorn in the side of all white people who try to do their part to change the old manors in which some of my people behaved and replace them with TRUE equality.

I was merely indicating that, as a white man who never had a racist thought or action, I feel unfairly lumped into a heap of old, albeit real, memories of enslavement and inhumane treatment by backwards thinking white men whom I have no affiliation with.

  • I'm a white man who just hired a black man over many white candidates, because of his ability. I actually resisted giving the job to an old colleague who is in need of a job and could have probably performed adequately until she got up to speed.

Until the color of a mans skin is of no more significance than the color of his eyes

I cant pretend to understand how you feel or hope to fix the long standing and unwarranted discrimination that you may have been exposed, but I do my part.

  • to be quite honest, its not doing your part, it is just not being bad, its good that you hired a black person over white people due to ability, but this shouldnt be seen as a good thing as such, just lack of bad. if you feel i am putting you down in anyway, you have misunderstood my point btw, peace

  • I get your point and appreciate you understanding my position...I'll take your point a step further. It's not good or bad, its right vs wrong...it's sense vs nonsense. a persons ability should overshadow the color of their skin plain. White doesn't equal good just as Black doesn't equal bad...I've known some white people who I wouldn't trust in any way, thats because they are HUMAN. Some day maybe we will call ourselves what we are Human Beings...not Black or White. I'll do what I can.

  • very well said man and respecct to you for not getting pissed off at my comment. too many people just get bothered by being corrected, where as you acknowledged it and built on what i said, and thats another thing that stops them from progressing

  • Hiring the better man is just common sense, not something to brag about. I hope the whole world will look past race soon because until that day there is war. the colour of a man's skin is no more significance than the colour of his eyes

  • grow up man...learn from the past dont dwell in it...remember the dead but dont put the blame on all white people cus thats just stupid...all cultures make fucked up mistakes, all cultures have racists...humans are dumb like that...no point classing all a certain culture the same as thats whats your against isnt it.

  • Jah Rastafari is love. How can one move forward with anger and hatred? Replace that with overstanding and enlightenment. Jah Bless

  • this mean you caucasian took all gold from africa.. you sucks... indonesia too.. you took all the gold and make my country poor..

i think bob said that in this song.

Implement a linear graduated corporate tax 15-65% based on % profit from foreign labor. Indict bankers, enablers of this mess give due process and public trials reopen Alcatraz as a criminal zoo for all to see. Turn FED, Enron, Wall st. offices into public crime museums, to discourage future criminals. Return ill gotten gains to the people of the world, then throw a big party.

  • Maddman dont do it.

  • a melhor versão destas musicas! the best version! nada mais a declarar! nothing to say!

  • Just wondering, who r the crazy baldheads ?

  • Rasta's believe that dreadlocks give them power, and when they shake their dreads, the positive vibrations flow. To them, a baldhead are people who cut their hair in response to the pressure of babylon. More loosely translated it means people who don't have dreadlocks and therefore are not capable of positive vibrations.

Babylon soon gone. Nov. 4 come soon.

    Jah! Rastafar I

  • Everyone's got there own interpretation but I disagree. This song is about europeans/white people. Listen to the first line "I in I build the cabin, I in I plant the corn. Didn't my people before me slave for this country? Now you look at me with discourn and eat up all my corn. We gonna chase those crazy bald heads outta town...." As dead prez would say (who sampled this song) "capitalism born off the backs of blacks white folks relax live off the kick backs"

  • The wearing of dreadlocks is very closely associated with the movement, though not universal among, or exclusive to, its adherents.

  • Rastas maintain that dreadlocks are supported by Leviticus 21:5 ("They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in the flesh.") and the Nazirite vow in Numbers 6:5 ("All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.").

  • The length of a Rasta's dreads is a measure of wisdom, maturity, and knowledge in that it can indicate not only the Rasta's age, but also his/her time as a Rasta.

Also, according to the Bible, Samson was a Nazarite who had "seven locks". Rastas argue that these "seven locks" could only have been dreadlocks, as it is unlikely to refer to seven strands of hair.

Dreadlocks have also come to symbolize the Lion of Judah (its mane) and rebellion against Babylon.

    Maximum respect. Babylon Soon gone

  • shalom akim, this sint my page, but i ha dto ask you a question, whats ya race, u seem to be intelligetn, i am a hebrew israelite, and the rastafarian culture has alot ot do with the ancient israelites, and tribe of yehuda. but its a lil twisted, u can hit me back my account name is bmorecongoplayer. i have a reggae band and i have a old video if it intrest you go comment on it though thanks for listening

  • but if you look into it even further you will realise that the story of samson is actually an ancient babylonian myth and his hair resembles the rays of the sun just like the lions mane- the origin of a lot of these stories are metaphorical of the sun to babylon, but meant to be taken literally by us,the sheep

  • A bald head is a non Rastafarian, or someone who works for babylon. They consider them an enemy. They are corrupt and help to enslave the people. Baldheads can be any nationality or race.

  • you named it man.

peace, still smoking ever smoking ever, fighting babylon

  • so i guess ghandi wasn't capable of positive vibrations...

you don't have to dread to be rasta

  • not literal baldheads though, its a metaphor not literally somebody with a bald head- ghandi was actually very very racist against black people also-he is quoted to have said they are "less intelligent than apes"or something along those lines. he was portrayed a lot better than he was- ghandi was inside babylon and he was a metaphorical baldhead

  • no. he means literally, baldheads. look it up, it means ppl with no hair.

  • As important and connected with the movement as the wearing of dreadlocks is, though, it is not deemed necessary for, or equivalent to, true faith.

Popular slogans, often incorporated within Reggae lyrics, include: "Not every dread is a Rasta and not every Rasta is a dread..."; "It's not the dread upon your head, but the love inna your heart, that mek ya Rastaman"

  • Marley FOREVA !

  • Bob Marley was a prolific songwriter and performer. He was determined to be an ambassador for Reggae music. He toured north, south, east, and west. He has to be considered the most important figure in Reggae. His shows were more of a revival, than a concert. He was trying to save the world from self destruction. He was making new converts of reggae music. His song catalog stands on it's own merit. This Trenchtown artist, became a international musician. Bob Marley is a musical and cultural icon.

  • If another Bob Marley emerged right now, (like that would happen.) he would be a real threat to our current administration. This cut really shows how good of a singer Bob's is. I think Bob has more truth in his message every day. I'll listen to this stuff till the day I die.

  • It was the CIA who tried to kill Bob then and I have zero doubt Cheney & Co.. would try it again.

I love my country. I fear my government.
