If you went to Moore Street now in 2007, you'd swear you were walking a street of africa or asia. Theres an awful amount of foreign shops on it. The City Council should have passed legislation years ago to prevent parts/streets of Dublin City from becoming like parts of London with ethnic shops.
It s hard to believe this is the same Moore St.On the plus side it has become quite a melting pot of people from different countries.On the minus side it has become quite rundown and scruffy although I believe there are plans to clean it up. Because of this the respectable businesses (Local and foreign) are closing down or moving on.

Dublin has its problems as most Euro cities and certainly all Capital cities! you think im wrong ? come back and let me know where is any better!(in wealthy countries) Dublin is beautiful with fantastic architecture and interresting history, and a good bar scene,ya thats part of it and its part off us Irish!

I find that people who abuse others have been systematically abused themselves either by their parents or their teachers. In either event I believe it fruitless to expect them to reason without resort to violence. So many such messed up people are attracted (by their friends) to the internet. But I cannot see my way to continuing to cater to them.... Sorry!

You may have some redeeming features.. but you need to lead with them, if you want to find out gratuitously what other people think. .. Dublin can be '''can be' - a city of some standing; but it can't borrow a 'left bank' it never had and drink itelf stupid. I invite you to find for me one 'noble' public square in Dublin, you need not try and compare it with Berlin or Copenhagen... One...

OK it may not have a beautiful town square like many European cities but is that all it is lacking?. Also the only comparison i was making between Dublin and other European Capitals were that the negitive aspects, which you brought up, Dublin shares with them.

If foreign shops set up, so be it. This is what FREEDOM is people. Every person has the right to start a business and try to make a life for themselves. It's what makes Ireland a great place.

If you went to Moore Street now in 2007, you'd swear you were walking a street of africa or asia. Theres an awful amount of foreign shops on it. The City Council should have passed legislation years ago to prevent parts/streets of Dublin City from becoming like parts of London with ethnic shops.

It s hard to believe this is the same Moore St.On the plus side it has become quite a melting pot of people from different countries.On the minus side it has become quite rundown and scruffy although I believe there are plans to clean it up. Because of this the respectable businesses (Local and foreign) are closing down or moving on.
