I think this guys does a good job of presenting different techniques. I true martial artist is always looking to expand his knowledge on different things in order to better himself and his school. To talk about this guy being gay or anything else is showing you lack of respect and that you have no clue what the martial arts truely are about.....

have one question, do people use nunchucks later on in Taekwondo??? Because I've been doing Taekwondo, a little bit more over than a year. And I am fond of nunchucks. A hufe fan of trying to learn how to use one. Thing is I don't have one, I'm not sure if my class is doing it, and I don't think Nunchucks are legal in New York, where I live. I believe in New York, you can't have personal possession of a nunchuck or carry one. Is that true? Please answer theses questions I asked, thanks.

idk, i bought mines at japantown in the mall, it only costed me 6 bucks with tax.and i dont even take any type of martial arts (yet).

but i live at California, but in california. its legal to own a nunchuck but not use it on someone.

Dont know about the ny thing but in ur MA they usaully do bow/staff and sies. But you can learn by yourself these videos are a good way to start.

BUT, thats ok. TDK has Alot of throws, Defense techniques, some grapling, Weapons, Nunchuks, Bo staff, and other weapons, Alot of hand strikes also. What people (the public usually only see, is the SPORT side of it, which only used the Flashy kicks, and punchs). Soo, now...ur not ignorant to TKD anymore lol.

And that's good. Kicking is three times harder than punching and has twice more reach. Now why would u want to try to punch someone? Try to punch them and u will guarantee your oppnent a chance to kick you if he chooses to.

Because punching is faster, and once the distance is closed between opponents, punching becomes priority, unless grappling takes place. Why limit yourself to one part of the body?

it all depends on style and experiance noether kicking nor punching is better. a kick can keep people farther off so you can see movement and think. but if you kick and someone comes in close kicks are useless and punching wins. if you have the two best people who fight one only using kicks and the other only punches they are equaly matched and neither would win. :D

Are you joking? A few muay thai flying knees and elbows to the face, and that person is knocked out.

Don't try to argue that punches are better... They're just more universal and popular with people since most people aren't able to perform the other moves.

actually they do if you know how to do it besides nunchucks are illegal to carry in soem states i mean technically you could buy and carry them if you felt like it but im pretty sure nunchucks beat some one with a knife and so on. besides people now are stupid. they get close to you with the gun within reaching distance which allows you to push/grab the gun and if you know martial arts disarm them and fight :) plus what if they dont have a gun? most people dont and its not always a thug fighting
