No but the worst in Europe! These animals were here long before humans they deserve respect! Its constant every day rapes, shootings, hangings, poisonings, dumpings, why? They dont harm anyone the hunters are the worst people for abuse you dont want the animal hand it to someone who does ignorance, cruelty, no wonder there are boycotts! Absolute disgrace noone cares the government sticks its fingers up these people are breaking the law they should be punished its a member of the EU its shameles

If Greece is creaming big amounts of money out of the Common agricultural agreement (from e.u pot) which the rest of europe pays into they should at least follow the rest of europe in looking after pets. We have Animal Aid in Britian and R.S.P.C.A in britian people get sent to jail for animal cruilty it seems to be commonplace there. Throw them out of the EU. I certianly will never go there i just feel sorry for these animals ive seen it with my own eyes in zante , this isnt propeganda

I am going say something. I am Greek and yes that's a very big shame-one of many of the country.

The Greeks will never change politics towards almost anything unless Greece is being hit at three main factors:

1) Tourism

2) European Funding which supports the Budget at the greatest extent.

3) Agricultural products.

If i was a foreigner i would embargo those three heavily. And Greece would even apologize for this afterwards.

Well you must be the envy of a lot of animal loving greeks and they would all want to live where you are.

There is little point in comparing other countries, that is just an easy get out excuse, Greece now has the worst record for animal abuse, per capita, in the EU (Greece once known as the cradle of civilisation!!!!)

z4mcoupewhite..the first step to dealing with animal abuse in Greece is to actually admit that we have a problem..a serious problem. put your pride aside and and look into all the poisonings that have occurred lateley.
