@xXE4GLEyEXx I love the Helghast. Colonel Radec was the man. I had no problems with the ISA in this one though. None of the main characters did anything THAT ridiculous.
Then I played Killzone 3....that was one of the most retarded stories, ever. No sense of danger, main characters are uber-leet (how many times are you going to crash from a ship/tank/etc. and be perfectly fine?) and the Helghast were laughable. Pathetic game. They better make the Helghast badass in KZ 4.
@CelticBhoyHoops i really hated the ending scene of kz3 :S the game is challenging but the main characters survive really everything... sometimes it felt like im watching Die Hard. KZ4 should bring justice with the fall of the ISA but it wont because the game could get banned easily because the Helghast is something like "Space Nazis" and the world would not like it. :( personally i play a lot of Multiplayer in KZ3 and its good to bee with the Helgahst and bring the ISA down :D

The Helghast were mowing down ISA and they were hard to take down! The storyline (to me is) is you're simply a soldier who got stuck in some very unfortunate circumstances. You weren't over the top or too heroic, which made the characters not only likable, but able to relate and connect too. They had flaws. Not like KZ3

Colonel Radec is a soldier whom all aspiring officers should look up to. See no shit, hear no shit, take no shit, complete with a sense of finesse.....as for killing soldiers for violating uniform law, that's an added bonus. xD
my favorite characters in any story always seem to be the "right-hand man" character on the "evil" side. Radec is definitely in my top 10 overall. I especially liked how he wasn't too arrogant to stop speaking and FIRE HIS WEAPON. I applaud you for your strength and determination sir, I only wish the progression of the storyline like any other storyline had not required your death eventually, at least you didn't let Rico have the satisfaction.
I see Keyes in Templar in tis scene. Both powerful and lovable figures with authority yet a strong heart with care. They were unwilling. Damn these great characters.

I finish 1st Killzone 5 times and 2nd part i playing now 2nd time because of great gameplay and graphic and really good story BUT two things i hate in this game
1) No support for mouse and keyboard
2) Whole Helghast army looks like Nazi from WW2 -__- ( i mean for god sake stop with WW2 stories and tips )
nazis would be racist. the helghast would seem racist to players, but there's a difference. they were forced into the hostile world. it wasnt their choice to becoming whatever they are today (biologically). they think that the helghan race is superior because they hate humans, for what they did to them in the past. so i guess it's not racism, it's patriotism and nationalism.

can anyone explain to me why does rico have head hair throughout all of KZ1 but in KZ Liberation he is bald the whole game with no signs of his hair growing back. But in KZ2 he damn near looks like a caveman.

i see a lot of guys support the helghast, but if u play through the game completely you'll see how they detonated a nuke in one of their cities sacrificing their own troops just to kill isa soldiers, i love the helghast also but they are just as bad as the isa
@olumaderty Actually only a few squads to a few platoons of Helghast died in that explosion, most of which were the several thousand ISA soldiers. Yes they are bad as the ISA , this is why I love Killzone cuz in that storyline there is no good or bad only your opinion, not like other war games where they clearly tell you/show you whos the bad and good armies/guys.

Man the Helghast like made the ISA pay dearly for the landing on their planet and they were only using a fraction of their army.The only reason why the ISA won any battles was because of Sev and .....Templar........and thats about it. The ISA lost all of their cruisers as well as 95% of their ground infantry and the Helghast like around 20% of their ground troops and only five cruisers, with aton more as backup.LOL!!! FOR HELGAN!!!.

@theunbearableman : Yeah its a shame they tossed out nearly everything about KZ1, just because of the bad reviews. KZ1 was my favourite shooter on the PS2. It had good art direction, a good single and multiplayer mode (how many games these days can you say THAT about?), great weapons, etc. There was something missing in KZ2, I found. I hope KZ3 will bring back the 'Killzone-ness', but I'm not holding my breath. I wanna play as Luger or Hahka dammit!

@theunbearableman : Yeah, I have KZ1 and 2, and Black as well. Black is another really fun shooter, with impressive visuals for the ps2. It is a bit short, mind you. Killzone was a meatier game, with more story, more weapons, and multiplayer. Black would have been even better with multiplayer. I'd give Black a good solid 8/10. KZ1 was a 9/10 for me, the reviews didn't agree, but it had a challenging campaign, replayability (coz of the 4 playable characters), awesome weapons, great multiplayer..
@TheAdam159 i actually think it's the best part about it, why not take advantage of that? If they at least added side missions where you could play as helghast special forces taking out ISA troops and camps in the most badass way they'd make way more sales than ever before.
I love the KZ series but i don't like how they seem to bring the story to a very predictable route. If they had Sev eventually 'mutate' into a helghast like the original helghast did before and then eventually join them and kick the ISA off helghan while fighting other radical helghast factions, the game would probably triple in sales. I'm personally getting tired of killing the cooler and more badass guys who i think had the right to invade vekta in the beginning, even if they are a litle crazy
Noooo! Templar ruled in KZ1. I got more attached to the characters in the first one than in KZ2. I didn't feel for Sev as I did for the guys in the first game. I'm sad Templar never got to be with Luger :( They should bring back Luger and Hakha into the story in KZ3. Although guys who never played the original would wonder why he sounds just like Radec....

KZ2 seemed to be trying to do away with any trace of KZ1. New weapon designs, killing off Templar and Visari. I didn't like that aspect of it. They should have kept the weapons
I never did like ISA but i respect TEmplar so much than sev... tempalr and sev are my only ISA that i like... i hope in killzone 4 that isa will rot!

jesus christ 1st of all the isa should have had a more combined and efficient.2nd i would have gone fucking covenant on their planet and unleashed full missile deployment and glassed all their stuff outside of visari's place. obviously the isa had poor albeit very poor intel it appears the isa didn't know their ass from their elbow because they kept getting picked of like....hmm....i dont anyone has gotten their ass kicked that bad. the helghast however strange are better than the isa easily

can anyone explain to me why does rico have head hair throughout all of KZ1 but in KZ Liberation he is bald the whole game with no signs of his hair growing back. But in KZ2 he damn near looks like a caveman.

@oulmaderty No, Read the whole story or the loading screens while playing, in one of them said that visari evacuates his city just before the arriving of the ISA, it doesnt said that the soldiers evacuate too, but it seems that visari care more about their soldiers than UCA and ISA does, btw Helghan forever!!

i see a lot of guys support the helghast, but if u play through the game completely you'll see how they detonated a nuke in one of their cities sacrificing their own troops just to kill isa soldiers, i love the helghast also but they are just as bad as the isa

@olumaderty Actually only a few squads to a few platoons of Helghast died in that explosion, most of which were the several thousand ISA soldiers. Yes they are bad as the ISA , this is why I love Killzone cuz in that storyline there is no good or bad only your opinion, not like other war games where they clearly tell you/show you whos the bad and good armies/guys.

@karan8624 It was both the ISA and UCA that took it over. Man the Helghast like made the ISA pay dearly for the landing on their planet and they were only using a fraction of their army.The only reason why the ISA won any battles was because of Sev and .....Templar........and thats about it. The ISA lost all of their cruisers as well as 95% of their ground infantry and the Helghast like around 20% of their ground troops and only five cruisers, with aton more as backup.LOL!!! FOR HELGAN!!!.

@theunbearableman : Yeah its a shame they tossed out nearly everything about KZ1, just because of the bad reviews. KZ1 was my favourite shooter on the PS2. It had good art direction, a good single and multiplayer mode (how many games these days can you say THAT about?), great weapons, etc. There was something missing in KZ2, I found. I hope KZ3 will bring back the 'Killzone-ness', but I'm not holding my breath. I wanna play as Luger or Hahka dammit!

killzone 1 isin a draw whith my favorit game of all time the game called BLACK.

@theunbearableman : Yeah, I have KZ1 and 2, and Black as well. Black is another really fun shooter, with impressive visuals for the ps2. It is a bit short, mind you. Killzone was a meatier game, with more story, more weapons, and multiplayer. Black would have been even better with multiplayer. I'd give Black a good solid 8/10. KZ1 was a 9/10 for me, the reviews didn't agree, but it had a challenging campaign, replayability (coz of the 4 playable characters), awesome weapons, great multiplayer..

@TheAdam159 i actually think it's the best part about it, why not take advantage of that? If they at least added side missions where you could play as helghast special forces taking out ISA troops and camps in the most badass way they'd make way more sales than ever before.

I love the KZ series but i don't like how they seem to bring the story to a very predictable route. If they had Sev eventually 'mutate' into a helghast like the original helghast did before and then eventually join them and kick the ISA off helghan while fighting other radical helghast factions, the game would probably triple in sales. I'm personally getting tired of killing the cooler and more badass guys who i think had the right to invade vekta in the beginning, even if they are a litle crazy

Noooo! Templar ruled in KZ1. I got more attached to the characters in the first one than in KZ2. I didn't feel for Sev as I did for the guys in the first game. I'm sad Templar never got to be with Luger :( They should bring back Luger and Hakha into the story in KZ3. Although guys who never played the original would wonder why he sounds just like Radec....

KZ2 seemed to be trying to do away with any trace of KZ1. New weapon designs, killing off Templar and Visari. I didn't like that aspect of it. They should have kept the weapons
