I've had micros like this, and my edges have been fine. I thought this is how micros are supposed to look. When I first get mine done I let the braider know not to be heavy handed and pull so much, and I don't put them up right after to protect my hair from breaking at the edges.I wrap them up at night with a silk scarf just like I would do with my own hair and use tea tree oil.

The "white stuff" was MOUSSE. It feels so good when its put on after the braids. It soomths da fly aways and just lessens the tension when the hair is moved, hope that helps!

It depends on what type of hair you have and who does it weither or not your edges are gonna grow back. When i got my micros they were tight buh when my hair started to grow my edges grew and i had to lay it down cause it was so thick.

I braid my own hair and know from experience....I have thin hair but I use Dr. Miracle on my edges to keep them strong. And I wouldn't suggest putting them in a ponytail until some new growth comes in. DEFINITELY wrap them up EVERY night and grease the scalp if it's dry. Don't overdo the gel either, not necessary. I will be using this technique to braid my sisters and my own hair soon, hope they look lovely!!!!

Some clients just wanna have everything braided. Actually, braiding itself doesn't get rid of your edges. What does is when people keep pulling their hair consistently. We have seem people pulling or messing with their hair all the time. If you have braids, wrap your head when you go to bed or any time you are doing something that makes them strongly move. If you need to use any oil, just use it on the hair not the scalp.
