People please realize the largest threat to your health from eating produce is bacteria , notice she said 85 % of pesticides can penetrate into the fruits, real question is what percentage actually does...Wash your fruits well, like you wash your hands :)

Pesticides won't hurt you if you don't get too much. It takes a certain amount. It's either peatixides or bugs on steroids

Organic food contains pesticides and chemical components. They are however not manmade aka synthetic. Food can be labeled organic if its %95 natural. I don't know if its worth the extra money.

What about GMO onions? we need to be just as worried about GMO as we do pesticides. So an onion may not have pesticides when grown conventionally but is it GMO? Ive been looking for answeres about GMO and havent foung much. help?

There will be protests throughout the U.S. on 3/26/11 regarding genetic engineering/modification. GMOs have contaminated thousands of organic farms and conventional foods can contain GMOs and are sold in the U.S. without a label.
