i just don't get the point to have a mil sim paintball gun. if you want play paintball then use a normal paintball gun. i spend 60dollar to play one case of paintball with my own gear, but at the shooting range i can get 100round of m-16 plus 50rounds of 9mm pistol for the same price include rent. no matter how close the paintball gun get to a real gun you will never get the same experience as shooting a real one.
The magazine can serve as a good replacement for a paintball pistol, if you get the dial that can switch from hopper to mag and vice versa. The dual feed adapter is about $50 though.
Mike. Could you please do a review on the RAP68 shotgun. I've heard nothing but bad things about it. However I'd like a professional opinion. Aside from the Splatmatic Thundersplat, there really aren't any paintball markers built to replicate shotguns.
Wish I had the money to modify an SL68 or other pump guns though. :)

my buddy got that marker with the egrip and chopped balls like crazy he ordered the mechanical grip and it works fine now from the hassle he had I would not suggest getting the egrip considering the cost of this tricked out spyder.

Rap4 is still a few years out on gun tech. Good company though

i bought a rap4 marker and it works great the only problem is the mag, for some reason when ever i release the spring on the mag to feed the paintballs it almost immediately left dimples in the paintballs i currently use premium paint what do you recommended i do???
@cheeseeric1 hey you should try cuting the spring a little bit so it doesnt have so much tension but not too much or it wont feed right, or you can take it too a pb shop
I disagree with his comment about the closer you get to mil sim the further away you get from quality. The only thing you compromise when you get closer to mil sim is the amount of paint you can shoot. The quality is totally there from mil sim guns (rap4, tiberius, etc). And now that rap4 is coming out with the box mag, limited paint from one magazine will no longer be an issue if you go that route.
@OverTheBarsClub the only thing i dont like about that is the marker will rely to much on electronics. in that, imo just kills the milsim factor. hopefully, when the release the fs mags for the tacamo...that they will release a new feed adaptor for the t68 to use both fs and .68.

@SWRGMAN when he says performance he isn't necessarily saying quality. But if you notice he says the gun is a simple blowback spyder with only an 18 round magazine. Compared to higher end paintball guns the performance will be worse because the rap4 is heavier, louder, has more kick, shoots less bps, and is larger. You are probably right and the quality is probably great, but the performance will be less.

T68 is magfed, AB is hopperfed. AB has Tippmann internals and the T68 is just a Spyder built in a M4A1 body. Also, you can fit real steel parts on the T68 with little to no modification. Thats pretty much it
actually the t68 is not a spyder built into an m4 it similar to a spider its not the same the reason for this is because its a simple design that works well. and yes spyders do work well untill they break
@monopolyboy if you can mount the qloader you can get the hopper adapter and hook a qloader on it and yea u can check out this guy amguiang on youtube who qloads everything and he has a qloaded t68
Another great benefit of the Rap4 T68 is that, for a little more money (like $25 extra on the order) you can get the splitfire dial, which lets you choose between magazine-feed and hopper-feed. So if you're playing a game and you want realism, go for mag fed. Playing a game at a big field with a lot of people, throw on a hopper and dial the thing up to hopper.
id personally just buy the basic stripped down version of the t68 the tactical for $154, keep the hopper fed feature active, and add the stuff i want to it. e trigger, m4 butt stock etc.
mike i traded some of my guns at dday for the t68 and i played the whole week with it. it shoots amazing but the best thing about it is the looks people give when you barrel tag them with it there all mad at first then there like what gun is that. but to any one going to get on i would say get the split fire bc the mags are a lil touchy they like small bore paint and i would not use it in humid weather. if you do run mags i would use the mags first and then switch to the hopper asap.
Hey I own 3 BT4 markersERC IRONHORSE and DELTA ELITE, I am undecided on RAP4 on MILSIG Canada markers. I have heard that RAP4 is made quite cheap is this true?
@ARNAZ86 depends on what cheap means to you. the only cheap part on the rap would be the iron sight that you get with the marker. dont know about milsig, but as far as i know, rap is a good marker (talking with experience and currently owning a few).
personally, if i had the choice between the rap or the milsig, i'd go with rap.

@paintballexperts speedball marker...for your money, get the proto slg with a halo b or too hopper. Then save up for a pack/harness...if you into woodsball and wouldn't even try to play speedball, and you want to save paintband air, buy the sl-68 II
hint for people on the ghillie suit. dont buy prefabs. make your own, search youtube for it, there is a 9 part video series done by the military on how to create one. i scream every time i see a manufactured one, though the rap4 one is the best manufactured ghillie suit ive seen.

hey mike i was wondering about whats the difference between the tippmann alpha black and the rap4 t68 cause i own the alpha black and was just wondering?

T68 is magfed, AB is hopperfed. AB has Tippmann internals and the T68 is just a Spyder built in a M4A1 body. Also, you can fit real steel parts on the T68 with little to no modification. Thats pretty much it

actually the t68 is not a spyder built into an m4 it similar to a spider its not the same the reason for this is because its a simple design that works well. and yes spyders do work well untill they break

@monopolyboy if you can mount the qloader you can get the hopper adapter and hook a qloader on it and yea u can check out this guy amguiang on youtube who qloads everything and he has a qloaded t68

Another great benefit of the Rap4 T68 is that, for a little more money (like $25 extra on the order) you can get the splitfire dial, which lets you choose between magazine-feed and hopper-feed. So if you're playing a game and you want realism, go for mag fed. Playing a game at a big field with a lot of people, throw on a hopper and dial the thing up to hopper.

id personally just buy the basic stripped down version of the t68 the tactical for $154, keep the hopper fed feature active, and add the stuff i want to it. e trigger, m4 butt stock etc.

mike i traded some of my guns at dday for the t68 and i played the whole week with it. it shoots amazing but the best thing about it is the looks people give when you barrel tag them with it there all mad at first then there like what gun is that. but to any one going to get on i would say get the split fire bc the mags are a lil touchy they like small bore paint and i would not use it in humid weather. if you do run mags i would use the mags first and then switch to the hopper asap.

Hey I own 3 BT4 markersERC IRONHORSE and DELTA ELITE, I am undecided on RAP4 on MILSIG Canada markers. I have heard that RAP4 is made quite cheap is this true?

@ARNAZ86 depends on what cheap means to you. the only cheap part on the rap would be the iron sight that you get with the marker. dont know about milsig, but as far as i know, rap is a good marker (talking with experience and currently owning a few).
personally, if i had the choice between the rap or the milsig, i'd go with rap.

@paintballexperts speedball marker...for your money, get the proto slg with a halo b or too hopper. Then save up for a pack/harness...if you into woodsball and wouldn't even try to play speedball, and you want to save paintband air, buy the sl-68 II

hint for people on the ghillie suit. dont buy prefabs. make your own, search youtube for it, there is a 9 part video series done by the military on how to create one. i scream every time i see a manufactured one, though the rap4 one is the best manufactured ghillie suit ive seen.

@Roadapplepie3 not really, its just a tricked out crap gun. It still has the same fps and rate of fire. Plus youd have the advantage cause one shot at a ghillie suit even if its a bounce means they are out.

@azntactical you miss interpreted what i said. i just think that the body kits and the unesesary military accessories are a wast of money, instead of getting a gun lookalike u could get a entry level speedball marker witch is just as good in the woods maybe even beter. watch 9:03 mike explains it well.

@denvercolorado999 i've seen this a couple of times already and i dont really care what he says about it. that's is base opinion. i've seen guys in the woods with speedball markers and guess what? they get shot out with others that have milsim markers. besides, not everyone is into speedball markers. you cant really do crap with them except for the basic barrels, chip, reg, etc.

@denvercolorado999 and whats considered an entry level speedball marker? wgp trilogy? i've heard they are crap and you get what you pay for...60.00...hm...no thank you. you can be light as possible...run and gun with your so called better marker...but in the end...when you get shot out by a milsim player...with a 6+ pound marker...i just hope you give him/her props. thats what milsim is about...getting as real as it can get to milsim.

@azntactical we obiosly think differently i like to have as many advantages as i can this includes,faster rate of fire,lighter setup and with the bt apex barrel and tip awesome range and the ability to cure paintballs! I would say a good entry level gun would be a piranha gti. lastly in my opinion a speedball marker can do everything a milsim marker can do and more ecsept have that military feel but i am ok with that. (why are u watching mikes videos if you dont realy care about it)
