How I wish I could have done more to project my intuitive thought that these people needed to evacuate despite abandoning the places, homes and things that they hold most dear. I hope people who can evacuate do right now. It is better to stay alive and healthy and then rebuild/return later than to just fall prey to such corporate genocide.

big thanks to rikki ott. however, natural gas production, is NOT the answer to our energy needs. since cheney allowed oil/gas to no longer answer to the EPA, water & air safety acts, gas co's started using hydrolic chemical fracking to search for gas. it literally destroys FOREVER billions of gallons of drinkable water daily, as well as toxifying our air with deadly chemicals. nat'l gas is methane and is as much as 75 times more deadly than CO2. watch the new movie, "gasland".

This "interview" starts with obvious adoration by the "interviewer" and the "interviewee" is positioned as a victim/martyr even before she speaks. And then the "interviewee" is allowed (encouraged) to assert a string of crisis without ever being asked to give a specific fact about anything. Nobody got near any who, what, when, where? People, do you really want to be taken seriously? Nobody but her immediate female ancestor could love this.

Because this disaster is no longer in the news, doesn't mean it's going away. We simply cannot allow our friends down in the Gulf to be thrown under the bus again. The lack of national media attention and outrage to this tragedy is unforgiveable. i have been following this subject for the last 6 mos closely and cannot begin to tell you the countless videos and resident accounts contradicting what's being 'reported' .
