Marijuana is an amazing plant, in which the beauty of it should be recognized. Yes it kills cancer cells(fact), Yes it helps with Insomnia, Anorexia, Arthritis, Anxiety, Depression, the list goes on. Hold on a second. Firstly, I am educated on this subject, I do research into Marijuana because I believe in one thing, the pursuit of truth, and the truth is my friend, marijuana isn't a bad 'drug', in fact it could probably be used to help most illnesses and disorders that exist today. Secondly, I am a pothead, but that changes absolutely nothing about me, except I smoke a plant.

The last I heard, not everyone shoots themselves in the foot, nor do they jump off bridges, or even smoke Marijuana, therefore conforming to that would just be injudicious. And for the alcohol, I stay away from that hard drug, as that shit Is however dangerous when used irresponsibly, unlike the natural substance we call 'pot' as you can smoke and smoke and smoke and yet nothing would happen, you'd just fall fast asleep and wake up feeling freaking amazing.

I will explain how California can have medical marijuana when the feds outlaw marijuana (Federal Controlled Substances Act; 21 United States Code 811). The California Compassionate Use Act (CUA) did NOT legalize marijuana. It is STILL a FELONY to grow it or sell it. However, as a sovereign state, California can choose how it will enforce or apply its criminal laws. Under the CUA, patients and caregivers were given immunity for certain marijuana offenses.

Medical Cannabis should be a medical issue not a legal issue. Almost all medicines have negative side effects. Even aspirin can kill. We don't jail people for Alcohol or Coffee addiction, so why we do so for people taking medical cannabis ? I am talking about medical use not leisure use !

You don't have to smoke medical cannabis- vaporizer, tincture, suppository and eating are viable options. Nevertheless, recent long term studies (I do not have the citation) has not shown increased risks of lung cancer when smoking cannabis. Why ? because Cannabis actualy helps the immune system.
