  • just wondering....why were the LSU fans so happy? USC and UW have nothing to do with LSU....did it have something to do with the top 25 rankings or something?

  • @aldeng837 USC was 3rd at the time and LSU was 9th, so Washington's upset eliminates them from the national title race. LSU also beat Washington 2 weeks before this game, so the win makes LSU's victory at Washington look even better.

  • I don't understand why LSU fans gave a crap about this game,SEC fans always say how weak the Pac10 is,even LSU coach Les Miles talked smack about the conference.

  • @plofus Its cause it validated the close game between UW and LSU earlier that season, after that game there was definitely a feeling of mutual respect between UW and LSU fans, go dawgs and geaux tigers

  • @duckhater729 Thanks for the reply, they sure take their football seriously to cheer for a team that played them tough to play another team tough,I sure hope the DaWgs continue where they left off last season.

  • i remember being at that lsu uw home opener, and the lsu fans are probably the best ive ever been around at husky stadium, all the other fans that come in here a total jerks but not lsu!

  • From a true Husky fan...LSU =classy fans

  • I'm a Dawg fan forever, but I love LSU and their fans....when they came to Seattle for our opener last year they showed Tiger pride, class, and respect for UW. They're my favorite team next to the Dawgs. I hope they dominate the SEC this year.

  • LSU, alot of fans with alot of class! Thanks for the support!!

  • You guys were great fans when you visited last season. And man did you guys come in huge numbers! I saw a bunch of LSU fans up in Whistler when I was up there the week before.

  • lsu cant beat us..

  • Thanks for the support, go tigers!

  • Corn Dogs

  • Two loudest events I ever attended:

LSU's loss to Ara Parsegian's Notre Dame 3-0 as viewed in the LSU Cotillion ballroom on closed circuit TV.

Then the payback in Tiger Stadium next year. From start to finish, the noise was ungodly. Wonder if they thought to check the seismograph after that game (if there was one back then).

  • An obsessive bunch

  • One purple cheering for another.

Now PLEASE beat the Gators, LSU.

  • GO DAWGS!!! thanks for cheering us on! and.. your welcome :P
