CKathy R. has a good deal of power and energy, but she's still much more of a conventional rocker than Slick, who was and is a true original. Grace sounded 'cool' even when belting, that's a rare ability. Cathy does this tune as well as or better than any of the Grace-Ersatz types (Darby, Diana, you name 'em), but she's much more of a blues-rock mama than la Slick ever was. I don't usually say a given singer OWNS a song, but in this case I'm tempted to.

@MegaMr46 Sorry your are wrong this is the Jefferson Starship with Paul Kantner, Marty Balin also plays occasionally the Guitar player is Slick Aguiar and has been for years. David Frieberg from Quicksilver is the grey haired round looking guy and Kathy has been in the band for a number of years now since Dianna left. There is another band called Starship that still tours and does the pop crap with Mickey Thomas who was in the Starship when they became that in the 80s.

I have loved Grace Slick for over 40 years now. Back in the day she was often not up to her legend either, but I digress.
