  • sounds off

  • skate 2...

  • @alwiser....stop hating...dude..nd go ge a car stupid instead of worrying witch bike is better...swear hater be hating no shit!

  • lol...dp

  • The description says this is the first fixed film with a global perspective and that isn't true. bootleg sessions was one of the first. Research

  • i like how some people search fixed gear vids to trash them. Why are you even watching these vids? I know i watch them because I enjoy riding and like seeing people present skill. for those of you who talk shit for it not being as good as a bmx. try riding a fixed gear. you'll probably eat shit with in 5min cuz ur so used to coasting and relying on a hand brake. Its just a diff bike for diff type of riding. get over it. At least kids are riding instead of getting into other sorts of trouble.

  • man up and ride a bmx you faggot and learn some real freestyle tricks!!

  • @nickysiked11 I stopped riding bmx back in the 90s. Fixies are so much more fun. Sorry?

  • what does riding at 5mph have to do with death? get the fuck out.

  • 0:17 is the gayest shit ever, as if I'm supposed to be impressed by him makin a U-turn on a fixie?

  • @alwiser If you want to be impressed by fixie tricks, check out the Ines Bruun videos. No wait, this may be the gayest shit you have ever seen. The horror.

  • @nilo2209 You know what, fuck that internet tough guy bullshit, give me an address and we'll see who the fag really is, I'm packed nigga.

  • @alwiser ok why don't you show up on the North Pole tomorrow at noon. I'll be there riding backwards circles around you.... Lewser.

  • @nilo2209 that's typical, pussy-ass frail lookin white-boy/azn riding fixie to look cool coz your parents just got you one for xmas.

  • @alwiser dude I'm 39 and I have been a bike messenger for 10 years. The last bike my parents bought me was a Raleigh Tough Burner in the 80s. You have absolutely no clue. How old are you? 11?

  • hahaha this bmxer in class was saying my bike was gay and i was like how much is ur bmx bike he said 200 i told him my Bianchi was 1000 he didnt say shit!!!

  • @SteezNager fixie is not gay because you overpaid for that overpriced piece of shit?

  • @alwiser fixies are definitely not gay just because a bunch of insecure bmx jerks say so. In fact, serious fixie riders are masculine alpha males and have huge leg muscles and balls. Gotta laugh at all the pussies saying "fixie is gay" and what is it you ride? A sloppy freewheel drivetrain. 20" wheels. Or variable gears so you can get up a hill without working too hard. If anything is "gay" it's freewheel and variable gears. And now: Fuck off.

  • @alwiser wtf are u talking abt

  • no offence but fixies are gaaaay

  • @billybob22069 no offence but gay is gooood

  • Whats this song called

  • @XxMrKoolAid1xX harder than you think by public enemy

  • @bennie628 doing BMX tricks on a fixie is still stupid as fck though. There are fixie tricks you can do on a fixie.

  • @alwiser according to BMX riders there are no fixie tricks. Or they suck. Or they are gay. Backwards momentum means nothing. Or it means all tricks become easier to pull. Or harder. All depending on how the insecure BMX rider's belief system is configured. I say: There are no BMX or fixie tricks. There are only bike tricks and everyone can do whatever the fuck they like with their bike, as long as they don't hurt anyone but themselves.

  • @nilo2209 doing bmx tricks on a fixie is like riding a longboard in a skatepark, it's gay as fuck and anybody that does it is the epitome of mars bruno and everything bieber.

  • @alwiser Yeah and I could say you look "gay as fuck" on a BMX bike which is probably too small for you. I could say all skateboard types, long or not, are gay as fuck. Surely it's the most idiotic 4-wheeled device ever made. Like I give a fuck about skateparks. There are no BMX tricks, there are only bike tricks. You have no patent on any tricks. I can do whatever I want on my bike and all you can do is whine about how "gay as fuck" you think it is. You are pathetic.

  • @nilo2209 You could but in your case a lot of people would disagree with you. If you're going to do BMX tricks on a fixie you might as well chop your dick off and wear a lipstick. Faggot.

  • @alwiser well a lot of people disagree with you too. Does this matter? BMX bikes are still gay as fuck. The point is: Saying something is gay is not an argument. Your lame gaytrolling makes you a trendwhore. How does that feel?

  • @nilo2209 Haha, the day I'm butt-hurt by a fixie riding trend-whore with no culture is the day people vote Obama out of the office. Who cares if BMX are gay or not, BMX were designed and meant for tricks, can you really look at somebody in the eyes and say 0:17 is cool? Doing BMX tricks on a fixed gear bike and making a video like this is just pretentious, you're not radical because your video looks like a skate video.

  • @alwiser you got it backwards. *You* are the trendwhore. Hating on fixie videos and doing the general 4chan style fagtrolling and cyber bullying is a trend and you suck on it like the tool you are. Too bad for you that it's so obvious you are just a newfag. Fixies have been coming up since the 80s. They are hardly a trend anymore. Wake the fuck up. A friend of mine has a fixed BMX and other 20" fixies made for tricks. No 0:17 is not cool and I never said anything in this video is cool or pro.

  • @alwiser a wise man once commented: doing flatland on a fixie is like doing flatland on a vacuum cleaner.

  • Trick fixie is so gay, get a BMX pussie.

  • @alwiser dont be hatin bro

  • What is the song called??

  • search down to ride new york to los angeles twice better

  • gay

  • the bianchi at 0:51 is what color would u people say

  • @v4xxxxx

    Its called celeste i think

  • @v4xxxxx turquoise ? mint green ? can't really see it.

  • If you grew up poorer like a lot of us you'd know fixed gear riding is not dangerous, and makes for more direct control of the bike, and if you didn't grow up on a fixie you probably grew up on a coaster brake which isn't too far from it. Don't criticize legitimate riders, just the faggots who ride for fashion.

  • Next they will turn Bikes into skateboards?

  • what does pedaling 10mph have to do with death?

  • @xfiveonefour No coasting.

  • @achrome i do nearly all of my training on fixed gear. good fight.

  • @achrome you're a good bitch.

  • whats the hardest thing about riding a fixie??? telling your parents your gay!!

  • @SWINGINGDINGLEBERRY you dirty whore

  • BREAKING NEW ,HOT OFF THE PRESSES! if someone even yells a insult at a cyclist on LA streets that driver can be taken to court for financial damage.

the newest hipster item is a officially a voice recorder

  • whered the sound go?

  • song?

  • SGV is terrible? How

  • ohkay so, the first time i seen a fixie was when my older cousin rode it to my house. At first I thought it was dorky and weird looking,, just last week i rode one at my friends,, and I cannot believe how much ONE ride changed my life... FIXIES<3

  • And btw, the fact that we have our seats that high(which really isnt high at all) is so we can properly utilize all of our muscles to their fullest with the most comfort and ease of riding and so we dont fuck up our knees. It all depends on how long your legs are. Stop being so judgmental you ignorant bastard.

  • @dothyderp wtf? why the fuck are you hating? Id like for you to validate your statement "gay fixie riders". how does riding a fixed change anyones sexuality in any way? Youre a fucking douche, get a life.

  • SONG: Public Enemy-harder than you think :P

  • after so much technology, living in a modern world, with all the fancy trends, now were just back to a basic 'cycling a bicycle'....

  • @joethesnake not everyone. Just people trying to be as hip as possible.

  • @joethesnake All the "hipsters" riding fixies all of a sudden are just fake idiot kids, and following the trend, real hipsters moved on 3 years ago because it is "too mainstream". I for one don't see why coasting on a freewheel is acceptable unless you're an 85 year old woman, second, when I try to ride on freewheels and hand brakes, I just don't see how taking my hands off the bars to brake and only being able to accelerate and decelerate so abruptly is better or for that matter safer!

  • @joethesnake if it aint broke dont fix it :D

  • @joethesnake They did the same thing with Skateboards, it was like Skateboads, like the reg flats, then bmx then skateboard again.

  • What song is this?? And sick ass bikes

  • fuck i want a fixie so bad

  • sick video, looking for a red fixie Lusbikes dot com just made a fresh one.

  • Fixed Gear Bicycle = hipster and gay. Free wheel is ancient. You do know what a cassette is eh?

  • @DoThyDerp how is it hipster and gay?

  • @DoThyDerp ya cassette is for pussies who are too lazy to even keep a constant pedal motion

  • @DoThyDerp a cassette is what you use to listen to before cd's mate.

a bike is a bike. the rider is what counts. we ride fixies and we can ride road bikes.... we choose fixies for many reasons. eg. pride, fun, feel, fitness, form and its cheaper and tougher. if you seriously think about it.... you dunno shit and your gay. dont you know gears on a push bike is for some girls and people over 45?

  • @EVOASSHOLE Faggot. You love the way the seat rams up your ass you faggot.

  • @DoThyDerp

all i know is i answered your question.

you make false accusations. i am not gay, my girlfriend has cassettes on her bike...

i dont like my seat ramming up my ass...

dude. stop thinking that people like what you like.

  • @EVOASSHOLE Australia land of the gay fixie riders

  • @YourGirlCallsMeDaddy ERIC KOSTON will also lay these geeks in the dirt

  • 0:41 to skip the intro

  • whats this song called?

  • @MashputopRODUCTIONS harder than you think - public enemy

  • DP looks like dick there

  • Anybody notice the thrashed bike tire at the end, bottom right screen :O

  • "dude easy bake ovens are the shit" - yum yum mutha' fuckas

  • @MohkieHazSquids Are you kidding me bro? Easy Bake Ovens make literally THE BEST weed brownies...4 hour cook time but well worth it!

  • You people need to get lifes...... A bike is a bike now matter the style.... you guys just get mad because you dont now how to ride a fixed gear bike..... ;-D

  • @MsJester17 Folks fail to realize that extra gears were only invented to give bikes mass appeal and a toyish feel. Fixies came right after Penny Farthings and you pretty much weren't considered much of a man if you couldn't get your ass rolling on one! Biking definitely WASN'T for everyone... As far as I'm concerned the same thing holds true today lol. Oh yeah, helmetless is classic too as that technology wasn't really advanced until the mid 1970's! Before that many cats were dying riding!

  • @MsJester17 BUT. I do think more butts on bikes is a good thing so if you feel like you NEED to coast and switch off between 49 speeds who am I to judge? All the roadie heads just need to look at their boy Lance for the answer... He trains on a fixie all year, does mash and all that and has WON how many races at this point??? As far as I'm concerned Mr. Armstrong knows what's up. Fixies force proper technique learning if used properly. Geared bikes have their place(s): Mountains and Toy Chests!

  • haha nice editing

  • bike fail!!!

  • o my god the whole bike thing is getting worse im just gonna keep the spirt of skating going still.. and easy bake ovens too..lol:D

  • obviously your a little faggot who likes to bitch and hide behind a computer screen.

dont be mad cause you tried to skid for the first time and ate shit and cried.

go coast on your little bmx. what kind do you have anyways?

    a mongoose or something?xD

  • @PeterLongfellowxD Actually I think its a "Micargi Explorer" to be exact... Don't you just love that chainguard and pleather saddle? Ooh Ooh, It has reflectors too so people can see you flying past at 4mph and jack you for it while your at 7-11 buying a slurpee! Yipee! Dosen't it seem like everyone who rides a BMX thinks locking it up is flipping it upside down in front of the entrance to wherever they are???

  • @PeterLongfellowxD fuck off you little hipster. dont diss fellow bikers. MTB BMX ROAD FIXED, its all bikes, all fun to ride. soo just stfu and be humble.

  • @PeterLongfellowxD dude,your a hater.fucken scrub

  • should i buy SE?

  • @50nollieman no.

  • @dudeitsart y not?

  • @50nollieman

SE Bikes are awesome. I have a blue & grey 2011. Had a red 2010 before.

  • whats the name of the song?

  • @legoguy661 Public enemy - harder than you think

  • i dont get it bro, no gears plus no brakes = a revolution? Its a moutian bike missing some parts. All the sudden bar spins and skids are the shit again ? ca'mon man, yous gotta admitt this kinda gay!

  • @MWElectric Your Gay

  • @MWElectric it's a bike without the junk.

  • @MWElectric

Mtn bike? WTF. Learn more about bikes.

  • @Neotropic2012 Looking into a specialized alum. langster myself. Any thoughts???? anyone????

  • @scooby8782 That is arguably one of the worst track bikes you can get. The geometry is Trash as are the stock components. If you build it up with better stuff it can be a halfway decent commuter but still even a converted road bike is better. If you are looking to get rolling for the first time with a true track bike IRO or even Pake is a pretty safe bet, If you have a little more bread go for a Bianchi Pista simply because they retain most of their value. I say for firsties convert a roadie.

  • @scooby8782 My first 2 fixies were conversions. You can definitely get some great results with the right components. A good track fork will make more aggressive geometry on a road bike as well. Just go for something well built like a peugeot, fuji, or even an 80's Schwinn. Just stay away from vertical dropouts. $500 in parts on a $100 craigslist roadie will be a better bike than a $500 stock fixie. I've found some awesome vintage frames for under $50! If your racing spend the extra dough though.

  • @therealkedwards Thanks man!!! My wife , a long time Tri. nut said the same thing. Talked me into a nice Motobecane !!! I spent a little more dough but there is no such thing as flat out here.....all ups and downs !!!! So when I'm huffing and puffing up these hills, i am happy for those climbing gears!!!! One day at a time, know what i mean?

  • @scooby8782 Well actually the only geared bikes I own are a 3-speed fixie and a cyclus maximus rickshaw but 90% of the time I'm on my Peugeot Corbier or my Fuji Track. Ups and downs on a track bike will make your quads look like the incredible hulk, and you'll be the fastest and best spinning dude in the hood before long. But with all that said, YEAH, TAKE IT ONE DAY AT A TIME! : ) 44 or 46/16 is a good ratio if you live in hill hell even 46/18.

  • @scooby8782 No Prob. By the way The Sturmey Archer S3X will give you 3 speeds fixed so if you're doing tons of ups and downs you could do a 52/15 or 14 which would give you that gear, something like a 48/16 and a 40/18 so you could climb hills easily but not spin out of control going down. Its an awesome hub except it isn't zero lag so yes for say commuting or touring but not a racing hub... Definitely awesome for some training as well.

  • @scooby8782 Once upon a time my girl like gears and coasting too, I forced her into the world of fixed and definitely must say her ass never looked better! ;-) lol

  • @therealkedwards LOL!!!! TOO COOL MAN!!!! THANKS AGAIN MAN !!!! Goin in to the shop where I got my ride for one of my lifetime free tune ups. Gonna take your information with me, with a few dead presidents too boot!!!

  • @scooby8782 No Worries bro, happy riding! : )

  • @therealkedwards Right back at you bro!!!

  • @MWElectric Its bringing bikes BACK to a point they should have never departed from in the first place. So yes It is a revolution. Unless you re-tune ANY geared bike before and after EVERY ride you are NOT going to have a vehicle that performs at 100 or even 90% of its potential. Derailleurs do nothing but add lag to your system, a fixed gear is way lower maintenance And a purer, more DIRECT feel on the road. AND skidding takes a lot of skill, we aren't footstopping like wacko BMXers.

  • @MWElectric I think you need to understand it correctly: No Gears, your legs and the cranks ARE the brakes. And mountain bikes definitely don't have the same geometry as a good track bike. Do your homework and maybe try to ride one before you call it gay. I know a few gay riders who could probably ride circles around you! Trick fixed riding takes waaaay more skill than regular BMX. Do you see the size of the wheels? Your logic would make Polo and Radball gay then too... Think before you comment!

  • @therealkedwards I can rip the brakes out of my truck and say look at me im the the realest mutha fuka on the highway lol but it would still be gay. Gay, Gay, Gay! Why would you take backwards developing an invention to heart??? i can fish with no rod and watch t.v. with no H.D. but no one would care. Sorta like trick fixed riding... just kinda gay.

  • @MWElectric Well yeah, I am pretty happy riding my fixie.

  • @MWElectric is it really so fucking hard to understand that the fixed gear makes riding the bike feel very different? That it opens up for control and a range of tricks that can't be done on a freewheel bike? Yeah I guess some people like to go simple when fishing. No wait! Why use a fishing rod when you could be trawling with 2 boats and a big net between them? Fishing rod = Gay, Gay, Gay!

  • WTF I NEVER KNEW YOU COULD DO THAT ON A FIXIE.

  • the only sport in the world that gets shit for being harder than its counterpart? your great great grand whatever rode a fixed gear bike

  • looks like skyds clothing...

  • hahah your trademark picture is like dead kennedy's

  • whats this song !

  • funny.. how "bmxers" and "fixieriders" talk so much shit on each other no matter what you ride if you can take technique and make normal day riding look like something special then you deserve the golden star, fixie or bmx just because someone cant ride a fixie and do anything or ride a bmx and never pull off anything dont mean you get on YOUTUBE to talk shit on videos that wernt even out there to please you in the first place so keep talking shit. oh and where can i get parts for fixies? =)

  • Comment removed

  • @farmerboycasey Bikehut dot comm for cheap, ebay for deals, craigslist for stolen or "posing as new". Amazon if you want to help put your LBS out of biz ; ) ...Sheldon Brown sells parts too and he has tons of tutorials and articles.

  • @farmerboycasey SGV its the bestt fixie website

  • @MagicalNikka but that guy is sketchy as fuck, whenever i pick up parts from him i feel like im gunna get mugged

  • @MagicalNikka Sgv is terrible man. Go to RYD bikes or Volume bikes. There fixed bikes are great

  • There's a lot of fixie hate'n, why? BMX bikes are small and inconvenient. Fixies not so much so. BMX I'm SURE you can do more tricks on...but fixies can get you places. It's all taste and purpose...SO CHILL THE FUCK OUT!

oh, and on the "hipster" note, that don't have anything to do with jack-shit, that's just style, sorta like how BMX kids have nothing better to do but look like white trash and bash videos that are irrelevant to their groddy asses....ya know?

  • that's all it takes to be a pro fixie rider?...fuck a blind 3 year old with no legs can do this...this video sucks BALLZZ!!!! FIXIE'S SUCK BALLS!!!!! GET A REAL BIKE BITCHES!!!!!! Fixie riders= 8D~~ BMX= 8=====D~~~

  • what you said shows that you know how to suck balls.

i used to do it the hard way like you on the bmx, but if you give it a chance and convert to a flat bar single gear road/urban fixie or not. you will get adicted to the solid feeling and speed.

i am now using my BMX power to push a fixie long distances and the speed is awesome. fixie not so trixie for me.... SPEED!!!!

  • @EVOASSHOLE I agree. I used to mash on out my Dyno Air (USA Made) till I got a man's bike and never looked back. Actually in the process of lacing a track hub to a 20" rim though and I'm gonna throw some 160mm cranks on that Dyno frame cuz it'll just be better...Only kid in my hood with a fixed gear bmx son! Those rear dropouts were just begging me to be converted...Oh yeah then I can lose that heavy ass GYRO too! This'll be my trick/prove I'm really the fastest cuz of small tires bike.

  • @roge72794 If you did the research you would clearly see that a FIXED GEAR IS THE ONLY REAL BIKE.

  • Is this G. Love in the background?

  • its a bike..ride it.. I cant see the point in these gay fixie hipster shite videos. I ride fixed..Oooh look at me, Im so cool with my Shoreditch mustache and my messenger bag

  • @dozeoneuk So why watch them? We don't all dress like that either... My parents who are both in their 50s and certainly NOT hip got me into fixed gears when I was a kid. "Hipsters" did nothing but attempt steal a culture that belonged to someone else already. Everyone busting all these tricks certainly is new though so what's wrong with documenting it? Isn't that the point of youtube? In my humble opinion Death Pedal is actually one of the better videos out there.

  • Wow... music was almost as lame as the ENTIRE scene.

  • a bikes a bike. i ride bmx but i have a fixie too...... were all bikers

  • @Nacob07 Are You stupid?......stfu ur not a BMX'er Pussy!!!!

  • @roge72794 Awwww, does someone's abnormally small bike got his panties cramped up in his vagina?

  • @roge72794 im not a bmxer? uhh yeah i am how would you know? the fuck dude? calm yourself.

  • cock. ..................................lol

  • that was wet who ever thinks this was bad go suck some DACK!!!

  • @TheFromister +100000000

  • Le fog jönni a fogadról a zománc.

  • WHY IS THERE A CAR???

  • hei w w w.tawakalrider . c o m :) cheers!

  • song name?

  • Some people prefer bmx, some prefer fixed, some prefer mountain biking, etc. IT DOESN'T MATTER! I USED TO BE A JUDGEMENTAL PERSON and now i really dgaf. just do what you want to do because you like it. stop being a close minded person and just enjoy what you do. not because it looks cool or because it feels right. i prefer freestyle fixed gear because the frames fit my size. im 6'2 and its perfect for me.

  • please tell me what the song is

  • sweet bikes and sweet tricks

  • representing my city of san diego yeeeeeeee

  • Bikes are bikes no matter what they cost or how they look they all have two wheels thats it. and fuck all the fucking people judging judge yourselfs before talking shit!!!

  • People commenting on this shit are fucking stupid lol they're fucking BIKES. bmx or not, it's still a fucking bike, man. If someone wants to ride a bike, fixed gear, or not, Let them be, bro lol what's next? people comparing easy bake ovens saying which one cooks better? LOL...arguing about bikes...listen to yourselves lol when you're 80 you'll end up on 2 wheels anyway.

  • @RigoDiscua you mean four wheels not two.
