If you are aboriginal in a reservation, a university eduction is free, there are no taxes to pay, there is financial assistance in building homes, job priorities, etc. Canada's native people are having opportunities offered to them, but they do not take advantage of it. If aboriginals worked and paid taxes, nobody would bother them. I do not agree with throwing rocks at them, but they've had decades to get off the welfare for life program, but all they do is sell illegal tobacco products, extort builders near Caledonia, block highways, etc. How much more time do they need to fit into Canadas society.

Hello Nddesh - Was my suggestion abnormal? Is it too much to ask aboriginals to work for a living? Every other culture "except Jamaicans" have learned to do that.

not really just not constructive..
but none of the other culture we're sent to reserves when they were uneducated and became dependant to welfare and so are their kids.. Natives.. well my Tribe.. always stayed close of their family and friends.. as it was like that even before whites came here... we leave the reserve.. we lose all these.. Does all Black leave the ghetto?

Hello Nddesh - If you are black, the government offers no assistance in finding a way out of the ghetto. If you are aboriginal in a reservation, a university eduction is free, there are no taxes to pay, there is financial assistance in building homes, job priorities, etc. Canada's native people are having opportunities offered to them, but they do not take advantage of it. Many other cultures are deep in debt over paying for a university education.

I beg your pardon, quotes the facts, not hearsay. Aborginals in Canada DO pay taxes. There are more living off reserve than on reserves and the ones ALL living off reserves PAY taxes. Only those living on reserves don't pay taxes. There are no jobs on reserves, so the ones living on reserves in substandard third world living conditions, (no clean or running water) wouldn't have to pay taxes anyway, because they would have NO income. (btw how many "whites" collect welfare in canda too? alot more.
