when a cali king is pure white is a high white. the yellowish ones are not high white. and they are called king snakes because they feed on rattle snakes and other venomous snakes.

the bad thing about them is they grow too big. is your house cold at night in not make it realy cold then get a heat source with a caged mouse. a snake trap i have thought of is a mouse with a string tied to its leg in a plastic 2 litter coke bottle the sting is secured through a hole in the bottom of bottle the snake enters eats the mouse and is too fat to get out again

the hard part is catching one it is getting coolder and the ones i have found mostly have been rattle snakes . that depends where you live but after i catch one we can work that out , just dont start a sentence with and how would have been better

I have a question

Your snakes seems to have black and white ring bands (dessert morph). Now mine appears to have that also but it also has a notch of yellow on the belly and sides of the snake. My question is does your seems to have that too? Is there such a thing as pure white and pure black ringbands?....Im saying this because I had to get it specially orderd at pet store. And i said white and black ring bands.

hi. I just got an adult king snake, full grown, about three and a half feet. the people I got her from had been feeding him baby rats/large mice. Anyway, Im feeding her today, and lo and behold my pet store only has small adult mice. Anyway, I was wondering if I could feed my snake two smaller mice on the same day (as opposed to one larger mouse), or if i should just feed her twice a week.

if you handle them enough they get used to you and don't bite as much, another thing is if you smell like any kind of food to them, like if you've touched the feeder mice or anything they just go for it, also obviously never handle them around feeding time cause they just go into attack mode and go for the nearest thing lol I found that out the hard way, I also have a pair of gloves for feeding.
