  • omg jajajajaja

  • jajajajjajajajjajajajajajajajj

  • que mal

  • What was the point of that video?

  • @peter12345231

The point was to illustrate the difference between 'palmas sordas' and 'palmas fuertes', using a "bulerias" palo (rhythmic structure). It's useful, once you know what's going on.

  • pero0 que esta haciiendo0 usted ?? sabes to0caar palamas ?? eso0 no es palama de flameno0 vamo0s ni de flaii ......... x favo0r primero0 aprendee y despues enseñaa ....... =)

  • Este no tiene ni puñetera ideia de tocar palmas

  • wow that was AMAAAAAAAAZIIIIIING, nat

  • cool

  • You damaged your hearing!

  • If you want I can order him(her) a few videoes it that it(he,she) does is not to do good compass, the accents are alone bilges a good compass (pace) it is learned in the street not in a school

  • ajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaj

  • Very educative. Thanks.

  • baby clap

  • very small hands and small knuckles

  • needless to say...but you are flamenco

  • Thank you for posting this! I always tried to figure out just by watching/listening..now I can really practice!

    Gracias~

  • This particular timing is 12 beat Bulerias rhythm with accents on 12-3-6-8-10, starting on 12.

Read more about this at the website

  • Now count again to discover that the accents are on 12-3-7-8-10, and not on 6.

  • You are correct. This demo has accent on 7 not 6. My mistake. Although the standard way to learn I the beginning is accent on 6, I prefer 7. I should have made this clear instead of writing the comment with the more common 6 in mind.

    Sal

  • Okay, I see. Thanks. I only learned it with the accent on 7. But eh, that's in Holland. What do Dutch know about flamenco anyway...

  • nahh... it's just really populair to do the 7-8

No bad.. you're just really up to date ;)

  • Nice!

Could you explain a bit about why the timing is like that please?

  • cos its 5 beats in 12

    i see you're a drummer

    imagine a clock

    with numbers only on 12..3..6.8.10.

the .'s above are non emphasised beats and the numbers are the accented beat

however different flamenco forms mean that the song doesn't always start on 12

it could start at 8 which gives you a completely different rythym

  • So this would be the soleá compás?

  • actually it sounds like either a bulerias or a fandango - those start on 12 (ie. to count like this 123 123 12 12 12 (ones being the main beat)). not sur about solea but i know a seguriya starts at 6 oclock, ie. 12 12 12 123 123.

a good flamenco guy on youtube sal bonavita recommmended i sign up to the flamenco foro forum. you can download free flamenco compas metronome software. it helped me, i was well confused before!

  • actually just noticed that this is one of his videos! check his website out its really good :-)

  • no bulerias

solea is more parrrumpa parrumpa para para para pa

  • all your videos are goddamn awesome!
