  • great job, homeade music, reflected straight from the shadow's pysche!!

  • So this is why you were practicing ll that strumming... Nice!

  • @mehquig Yep - took a long while to get this one right

  • Hauntingly interesting! Blessings, Ang

  • @GramsandPapi It gets more haunting as you will have discovered by now

  • looks like you will be getting 2 views for the price of 1 on this one! enjoyed the music and then at the end realised I probably should have concentrated on what you were actually saying! ;)

  • @21stCenturyCat Ha ha ha! Well there is usually something hidden somewhere so you do have to watch carefully

  • I think this is my favorite one of the series....

  • @sunsetlover you don't know how many recordings of that song I did - was sick to death of it by the end but it seems to work

  • Was that a Dover Sole? Perhaps it was beyond its best before, and so had to be removed.. As usual you have me puzzled, and I guess Pt.3 won't make me any the wiser, but I'll find out about as soon as it takes me to click the mouse..

  • @BasicModelling ah yes puzzles - all you have to do is put the pieces together but because it doesn't have Airfix written on the box there aren't any instructions!

  • As a student of graphology, I can clearly see, in this doctor's signature he is not to be trusted! He is highly creative and not very stable. Ha,ha,ha!!! nudge, nudge, wink, wink!!

  • @battlebauble Oh bugger! And I tried so hard to disguise it!

  • As if doctors don't take enough of our money already, right?!

  • @OhCurt I think you are getting the subliminal message I hid in there, yes

  • I'd sue that doctor for malpractice. Great imagery. I'm moving straight on to day 3!!

  • @NaturalTwentyFilms I hadn't actually given him a name, 'Malcolm Practice' has a sort of ring to it I guess

  • If it is like tests at work after the test you'll want a survey about how wonderful the training was... Test me survey me then steal my soul...

  • @PappyStu indeed - how was it for you? as they say!

  • It's a musical? Hey why was the presence of my golden throated singing voice not requested, LOL.

Great job all round Brian! I especially liked how your dark sillohuette looked like it had holes in it at 1:43. And I loved the shadow of the bird at 1:12. Was that an actual bird made to look like a shadow or an actual bird shadow?

  • @Blinkazoid You mean that wasn't you warbling Reveille in your section - don't tell me you cheated and used a sound effect!

That was a shadow of a bird - we sat for ages outside a cafe on thr beach trying to get that shot - I have lots of footage of tarmac if anyone needs it!

  • @MrRandomWritings Ha! I *knew* that bird shadow footage must have taken ages to come by. It was an excellent shot. Great catch!

  • @Blinkazoid Thanks - wait till we get to Part 5 - we waited weeks for the weather to be just right for reasons which will become apparent...

  • This made the hairs on my head stand up. (and I haven't even got any!)

  • @stanwull don't you hate it when that happens - never mind I have lots - we can share if you like!

  • @MrRandomWritings. Just a small snippet will suffice please. (enclose glue!)

  • omg -- fantastic, Brian! Did I understand your reply to longhairred correctly -- you did this on WMM? If that's true, I need a freakin tutorial from you!

  • @liz1060 Thanks Liz - yes it WMM with one or two additional effects you can download - check out Blaine's Movie Maker Blog and Rehan's Movie Maker corner - just Google them and you can get all sorts of wonderful transitions and FX

  • It has the same feel as an Australian musical film "One Night The Moon" music was written by Paul Kelly.

  • @cheekychickenhead I don't know the film but I googled it - sounds interesting so I might look out for it

  • Okay now, I'm going to try to control myself and not get too emotional over this because then I'll start writing in all caps n' tons of exclamation marks. You don't happen to know what one exclamation mark weighs do you ? Never mind,...ok, back to my comment. This is FRICKIN' OUTSTANDING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's almost as if like,...you actually planned it. ;o) Love the CBG music, great lyrics, excellent video !!! You know it's good when people worry about your well-being. ;-)

  • @profwaldo Exclamation marks can be quite weighty and over use of them can be a pain in the colon but I think you got away with it this time - it's probabaly a period you are going through and it certainly wasn't catapostrophic.

I almost did plan it -and I can tell you it is a strange experience walking the streets late at night trying to film spooky stuff while the local drunks pour out of the pubs!

  • @billyCtv Thanks Billy - and there is more to come!

  • hehe Caught by this series!

Man... this is some seriously fine editing Mr.RW!

  • @longhairred I won't let you off the hook just yet! Good old windows movie maker - and to think it took me nearly a week to learn how to trim clips 5 years ago!

  • I do believe 2 pairs of hands appear in this film! And I wanted to put it on my CV! hahaha

Damn doctors - can never read their handwriting but I'm sure there's plenty on the wall in the next episode x

  • @LeSaMilano Which proves how handy you are to have around x

  • @MrRandomWritings well it was pretty magical - must have been the slight of hand! x

  • @LeSaMilano I wasn't slightly off-hand was I?

  • @MrRandomWritings it's hard to put a finger on it

  • Wild! I never did like that doctor.

  • @kenrg You should see what he has been up to in part 3!

  • Wow! This is really great! Brilliant lyrics! Fantastic editing and footage! This is really got me wanting to see the rest!

  • @greggfla Thanks - you'll have to wait a day or two for part 3 I am afraid but in the meantime you can try and work out what the hell it's about... oh and let me in on the big secret when you do!

  • Oooooo!! This is great! I can't wait to see where this goes!!

"Caught my shadows in the rain"...LOVE that line! With your character wondering if he is insane, I'm thinking he's not...well...not quite YET...LOL

Bravo!!! I always LOVE your series work! I'm so happy to see you have this one underway and can't help but hope you are already working on the next one...:-) xx

  • @GreatGig1 Glad you like it Caylyn but I am not dropping any clues. And yes the next one is at the scribbling on backs of envelopes stage already! xx

  • Ooooooh! I was sitting here intently watching, when a gust of cool wind blew through my window! I'm not kidding !! :-0 This is great Brian. hugs, Chris

  • @bugsinrug Now that is spooky Chris! Glad you are enjoying it - better wrap up warm in case it gets any cooler!
