  • Can you tell me the notes?

  • Beautiful. This song holds a lot of meaning for me as I played it at my granddad's second wedding when I was 10, and more recently at his funeral.. I hadn't played the recorder since the wedding, couldn't remember the name of the song and therefor couldn't find the sheet music. Thankfully I could remember the tune and how to play it. Although I never realised I was supposed to be playing a b flat! I enjoyed clicking play and playing it with you :)

  • What an amazing sound. I can't tell whether it's the recorder or the acoustics of the room. Very nice and clear anyway

  • @symes1906 Thank you! It is a combination of two things - a wide-bore recorder which makes a very loud sound, and the excellent acoustics afforded by standing on a marble floor at the bottom of a huge marble staircase. I got complaints about the volume from someone on the third floor! J.

  • Good job. I love this tune.

  • Thank you!

  • What make of recorder is that? I play a Coolsma Aura Conservatorium in Boxwood.

  • That one is a Mollenhauer Dream Series in pearwood. Nice and loud, even on the lower notes! They come in SATB, and with double or single holes. I got mine from Busymole Music in Herts, who is a UK distributor.

  • Very nicely played. I don't know who Snakes011 is but I do know what he is.

  • Great job. Don't listen to snakes011..they don't know anything beyond their genre of music.

  • Hey! Sounds pretty good! :-) ...I want to dance now!!!

    Supi :-) Becki und Tobsi

  • Your comment I could do well without....
