Ok here's my opinion, while War Zone stuck more to the comic books, we have to remember that throughout the years comic books would create different types of Frank Castle, if we wanted to see a comic book completely re-told, then eventually we would see Franken Castle someday, you want that? Besides this movie reflects The Punisher's personality PERFECTLY! Sure the origin is re-told so what, the issue re-mains the same, personality same, tactics same. So yeah I love this movie more.

But however, the way that Ray made his punisher, is a phsyco, balistic, killing machine with no human left in him hardly at all.

Absolutely. A lot of those insane comic book fanatics really need to separate the book from the movie. Yeah, there was a lot of stuff in the comic that was there to attract the reader to come back. That's just the way comics were and still are. When you make a movie about a comic book, you need the element of realism as well.
