@BennyJ69 yeah i definitely ate my words. im on the first level STILL. i just cant get past that guy with the javelin and red eyes..he is a beast..i only try it like a couple times a day tho cuz i dont wanna get my blood pressure up lol

@robertparkersmu Yeah that red eye knight isn't really needed to be defeated yet lol. It just leads to a "dead end" at the moment.

@robertparkersmu There's a 'fog gate' by the blue eyed knight on top of the castle wall walkway in the opposite direction of the red eyed knight. Go through that but before doing so, go into the tower and go down it to get a VERY useful ring, that i didn't get until i've taken down a few bosses ¬_¬.

@BennyJ69 ok cool i was wondering about that direction. the reason why i never went that way is because on the ground right before i meet up with that red eye knight theres a message that says"beginners should go this way" so i was like hell if the red eyed knight route is easier i would be a fool to even try the other way lol...but i guess someone tricked me

@robertparkersmu LOL! Yeah you get that a lot. I usually recomend them ;) You don't really need to pay attention to them unless it's 'Fall ahead' or something. Just search everywhere really :D

Well played!! I just beat this boss again on my first try in new game + using just 'Soul ray' with the ring of magical sharpness and eternal warrior ring. Although i have to admit my magic stat was at 99...lol

Actually, you can use Evacuate or a Shard of Archstone/Splinter of Keystone after acquiring the Soulbrand to make the North Regalia before triggering the ending. A new archstone will be plunked down in the Nexus to return to the final room of the game.

Also, wow, female Fluted Armor is a rare sight indeed.

@poodleman678 I think he still got his body back... Same thing happened with the Penetrator, only I was a phantom. I died to his combos and not a second later the host killed him. I got the 'Objective Failed' message AND the 'Objective Complete' message... At the same time!

@FuckedYourDad If you can kick every enemy in the game's ass like this fellow just did, it should take you about one day's solid playing to beat it. You'll probably have to spend quite a long time leveling up like most people to stand a reasonable chance, though.

@ratchet606 Get a blue phantom. A very good strategy is to use a quick weapon with both hands, and have a blue phantom. Firestorm and Homing Soul Arrow all help. But I beat this guy before I beat the Maneater...

If he hits you with soul drain, does it decrease the amount needed to level up again or are you just screwed?

Yeah, the amount you need to lvl up goes back to normal. Like you won't have to get double the amount of souls to lvl back up. Actually, what I've done was use him to Soul Drain me down to a lvl so I could trade with friends. If you die and go back, you can get all those souls back, but it's risky.

LOL!!! i just got firestorm and northern regalia yesterday! when you have to attack dragon god in the thing on his face i one hit killed him with northern regalia, the best sword of the gammeee!!!!

@Born2Fight4Life to get northern regalia you have to beat the game 1 time, and have demonbrandt and soulbrandt more flamelurker demon soul and the king allant demon soul, give everything to blacksmith ed annd you have northern regalia.

to get firestorm you have to save witch yuria and have dragon god demon soul and you just talk to her and learn the spell

northern regalia is made in ng+ with two swords you get from ng, called soulbrandt and demonbrandt, using the soul of false king allant to bind them in 2-1 at the blacksmith after you give him the red hot demon's soul from flamelurker. as for firestorm, you trade a soul(can't remember which) to either yuria the witch or sage freke to get it.

northern regalia is good but it's not when you don't have either pb or pw wt... there are other swords that have high damage no matter what tendency you have.

Take either the Short Sword, Long Sword or Knight Sword to +8 to open the branch for Morion Blade. It's definitely worth it. It's great to use in Boss Fights and tougher enemies. Also if you want to take down those Dragons in Boletaria faster.
