@6wrench9 no Kirschner wasn´t in quo in 72, but he was in 84 . If you under the video you can see it was recorded in 84. But Big Fat Mama is on the Piledriver album from 1972 :-)
I think this was the year when Quo also played Donnington...or maybe not. Anyway I remember the Donnington gig. Why? My brother was in charge of the box office and he got me a backstage pass.....oh yes.
This live version is from 1984. The original version of 'big Fat Mama' was recorded in 1972, and it is the year that the song was recorded that I always use in the video title.
This is my favorite Quo song eva!I´m 38,and ivé known it all my life, when you´ve listened to it 3,6457,896,849 times,it starts to give you brain rot.Still i would´nt have it any other way!
totally agreed best live band i ever saw..and i saw the rubettes so i know what im talkin about..rock on francis michael dominic rossi and richard thingy ..

Pete Kircher, nice chap that i guess he is, was probally the most boring drummer Quo ever had. Should have got Jeff Rich in to replace Spud!!

this cant be -72. Mr Rossi had more hair
-72 and Mr Coghlan is missing. Whos that guy on keybord? Mr Parfitt sing good as always but without passion on this version.

For me it's Queen (with Freddie of course, not PR), but Quo are fantastic and easily one of Britain's best ever bands!
