I practically beat Super Mario Galaxy with Mario and Luigi a few times. This is still better than Super Mario Sunshine because the graphics and the music has immensly improved. I know that Galaxy was a tad too easy compared to Sunshine though.

Nintendo have kept the same plot almost everytime, which is good, because the story sometimes affects the gameplay and sonic is the exact oppisite, so that's sonic has been going down hill lately, but colors and 4 will probarly save the franchise, anyway mario is awesome and i hope it lasts forever.

i already own a PS3 and i thought that thats all i need. but when i look at this game and other mario games, especially New Super Mario Bros Wii, im so tempted to get a Wii. problem is i intend to buy only Mario games for the Wii. maybe some resident evil too thats not on PS3.

problem is, will the Mario games on the Wii alone enough to make my spending on Wii worthwhile? its like people getting a PS3 just for MGS4 and nothing else. the last time i played Mario games was like 20 years ago.

@partyhat2fever I'd reccomend getting both, but play through the first one, then the second one, as you may be disapointed with the difficultly of the first game if you play through the second one first. However, they are both brilliant games and definatly worth getting.

The second one has great ideas, music is a little better than of the first one.

It also takes back various elements of previous mario games, whereunder music, bosses and levels.

I suggest the first.

The only "problem" I see with the windwaker is that it could have been so much more. I mean 80% of the islands felt empty and you only had to go there once. The whole world felt too desolated, think of what it could have been if they had dropped some MM side quests. Also the graphics were fantastic, people think they suck but cel-shading isn't exactly what you would call low quality graphics.

@o0Smexy0o it is. when you beat the game 100% ( which isnt that hard because it shows where all the items are) you unlock all the cut scenes in theater mode and you can watch the whole game as a movie! its not just a compilation of all the scenes either, it links them with gameplay footage so it rocks!

you suck!!! first of all, it's star BITS not star shards. second, the rosalina story has to do with how rosalina became the mother of the lumas and found her way through her parents dying.

however, i agree that the orchestration is superb, and this is really the first video game to use a full orchestra. at lesat, the first wii game. they really went above and beyond with this game. i would've given it a 9.9, only because it wasn't perfect.

The music for this game was some of the best Mario music of all time, and still is. Each planet has its own beautifully-crafted theme song, and the song at the base in between levels is sure to get stuck in your head for days on end. And it's an awesome song, so it's not a bad thing.
