I had to remove two comments as they were printed twice.Elvis will always have a special place in my heart and I have the upmost respect, and admiration for him because the image the bad image people tried to betray was not Elvis at all to me. I will never believe it because in my heart and in my mind he will always be the spiritual, loving, generous, caring, giving man who never forgot his roots and loved his God and loved people all people.
Elvis never did anything halfway it was all or nothin and when he went after somethin it was full speed ahead. He inspired and encouraged me in my life because he fulfilled his dreams and he gave me courage and much more than I can put into words. When he was done it was always Gospel songs he wanted to sing and unwind to Yes Elvis was a very spiritual man from his head to the toes of his blue suede shoes.
Elvis often prayed before his concerts and sometimes several times throughout the day. He read his Bible daily and had a Bible on a nightstand beside his bed. I saw one of his Bibles at Graceland with notations in the margins of what that scripture meant to him. He was far deeper than people gave him credit. Yes, Elvis was very spiritual and his love of God and for his fellow man is evident in all that he did. He really enjoyed making people happy.
He was intelligent. intuitive and Elvis loved people. I think he is not given half the credit he deserved. Elvis loved God I have no doubt in my mind and I wish all the negative things would be removed from you tube and the internet and if I could do it by myself I would in a minute. I wish out of respect they would just take the garbage off I didn't believe it then and I don't believe it now or ever.
I am going to have to answer this in segments because they don't give me enough room. To me Elvis Presley is a very spiritual man and I know he loved God. The love and compassion in his gospel songs is evident as he sang them from the heart and soul depths of his very heart and soul. Many people knew him as the wounderful and magnificent entertainer, but there was so much more to the man. He was a loving, caring, giving generous, charismatic , spiritual and wounderful man.
Interesting series "The Spiritual Soul of Elvis". Thanks for the uploads Elvisforever and thanks IF for the share. How true, you can never live up to an image. It´s only what people give you, it doesn´t reflects your true self.
