Oh, my. The long hair and beard were HOT!!! Every song he sings is just gold. Angelus, I have never seen him in person - had tickets for Scope in Norfolk, VA a few years ago but the concert cancelled. I was heartbroken! I hope to see him before it's over with!

this was about 1989 - Birmingham Hippodrome / NEC in the UK? - certainly he sang it around that time and he looked like this as I was in the audience - and was lucky to be invited to a party for him where I met him around this time. The song was never release in the USA. It only appears in a Germany release album called Remember I love you. The concert is not available in the USA either, or in England or in Germany. I have been searching for 9 months. I do have the album

My feelings about this song, and Enge's emotions attached to it, follows:

Enge stated at some point, that this was his mum's favorite song...Enge's dad passed away in 1984, a precious man, loved by all who got to know him personally..and so, if you clearly listen to the words, you should come to the same conclusion as I did. This song had special meaning to his mum, ( she passed away in 1988 )~ because of her loss of her beloved Mervyn. To try to sing it, he is reminded of both his parents.

This song " How Do I Stop Loving You " has such sad memories attached, and how he tried to sing it after his mum passed away.....and just broke up, and all of us along with him. Enge has been singing it this year 2008, not consistently but here and there, and the words still seem to get to him. This was another " face " we saw of Enge, the beard and all, and no matter what he changed, when he opened his mouth to sing, the golden voice flowed as it always has.....A Wonderful Man, Our Enge.

He has lots of talent, style and noblesse. I don't know how much healing powers he has in his hands but one thing is certain, however: his voice and looks can heal almost anything.
