  • I lived around the corner from where it was filmed. I also worked tobacco in the summer - we all did. I worked some of the fields that would have been the Sala Post farm down in the Ransom meadow behind the house that was the Post house (Malishevsky house) in Windsor.

Our mother brought us over (we were small kids) to the filming. I remember the fight scene and the Hi-Di-Li Ho-Di-Li. Tobacco was KING in the tobacco valley.

And yes, I've met those three women in life. Lucky me.

  • @AllenOption8 Thank you so much for sharing. Parrish was a particularly enjoyable film. Growing up in England we were in awe of American films and culture. It was like watching life on another planet. We all adored Connie Stevens and Troy Donahue and, of course, the lovely Susan Pleshette.

  • Don't blink, or you will miss an actor who starred in a television program that changed television and society forever.

  • R.I.P. Sharon Hugueny (1944-1996)

  • I love this movie! I just wish someone could show the whole thing. They never show it on tv

  • I love this movie too!!! It is on AMC every once in a while... I am lucky that I have a very good video copy of it...and in Widescreen!!!

  • Thanks, i forgot this
