@lafuzion i agree with you lafuzion. there is no underlying tone that says the basketball / the commercial is making fun of mj. in fact i think they are putting this moment, the moment mj broke down, up as a way to get ppl to watch the finals bc it is such a dramatic time in basketball. it stirs emotion, therefore gets ppl to watch. thats how i would take this commercial from a marketing standpoint. why the hell would the finals make fun of themselves if they want ppl to take them seriously.

zekehawkins, your misunderstanding the brilliance of this commercial!! The NBA is not making fun of the moment, they're honoring it!! They're advertising the emotion that the game of basketball can have on a player during their personal situations. Everyone who's a die hard bulls fan, like myself, knows that this moment for Michael was not only historic for winning a 4th title after his comeback, but for winning it in honor of his father!!!
