Another thing its actually really difficult to submit in real life they just need to employ a much more of a realistic approach to Offense and Defense , also create a damage system that actually mimics real life face and body damage, not just a stupid health bar you cant see.

the game isnt very realistic. LOOKS realistic, but 4 kicks to the head? no way, out cold if its clean hits. if its blocked thats a different story. Guys last 3 rounds in real life because they avoid being hit as much as they can and when they DO get hit, Real fighters have a recovery and shock system , where they back off a bit and try and recover OR they go for it and just start throwing punches to avoid being damaged more. Id love to see more of a tactical UFC game than just a button basher.

this game has great graphics, but is far from the UFC, reactions and blocks, these hits would put down the opponents

When you got someone pinned down and they holding you down click Right stick and you will put them into submission, then keep twisting the right stick clockwise motion.

I'm still not sure lol, it tells you in the tutorial. I think you just have to smash the face buttons and such X,Y,A or B.

yhh i read a nate ahearn review from IGN an he said that submitting an opponent is very rare.. i think you have literally kick there legs for the whole fight then put them into a submission with 15 seconds left of the 3rd round lol... its an area the creators rushed i think...

There's multiple ways to submit an opponent, I've managed to make people tap out in the first few minutes. It's just how you approach the fight.

The hits look unrealistic... every hit looks like they are about to get knocked out. In reality if their heads are moving back like that after a punch it would be a rare and potentionally a knockout punch.
