Ha ha we do this all the time to our boxer Willis except we have him running all over the house. It's funny when you make it "disappear" for awhile and he searches for it. And I agree boxers never give in. Also, our boxer's ribs show too. And he eats like a horse so I think it's just the way they are.

I love this video. I think you should feed the boxer more food. You should be able to feel a dogs ribs easily, but not see them, but if this one is that playful often, I can see why his or her ribs might show. My boxers are wonderful. I used to breed pups. Glad your boxer has such a good home. Mine are almost 11 and almost 3. One fawn, daddy and his girl, a brindle. My girl boxer loves to belly dance with me. Clowns of the dog world.

And secondly, the laser pen wasn't and never will be pointed at my dogs face, so even it were a powerful laser pen; no harm will come to her eyes. If you knew anything about the animal kingdom, you would know that a female dog is refered to a bitch - and my dog happens to be a female. This boxer may have an eye disease (glacoma) as his eyes look very bulged and this is a physical symptom of this disease. I have a boxer mix & she has this disease. One of her eyes was removed. It's very painful 4 a dog. The pain is similar to having a spike driven thru an eye!

The boxer's ribs look visible. I'm wondering if he's eating. Loss of appetite is one of the 1st symptoms.
