  • The graphics on the water in this game must have been great at the time

  • I played this game a lot. Good old 8bit days.

Always wondered why Activision didn't re-use the plot of H.E.R.O.

It would make a for a killer 3rd person game.

  • Thanks for posting! Still have the MSX system and this game! Better dust it off and play it again..Bring back memories... do you have beamrider? hehehe

  • just love this game.

i want it on my NDS :-)

  • I had this game, and I loved it, it sure was one of my favorites.

I had an ambar monitor, and when I plugged my msx on a Tv I was blown away by the colours.

Our amazement has come a long way since then.

    Thanks for the post

    Cheers.

  • Yeah loved this game soooooooooooooo much, unfortunately it never ends :( so much like all activision games on MSX, remember Pitfall.

  • great game.played it much when i was a kid

  • used to play this game also :)

never noticed that activision logo was so totally gay :D

and i never understood (still don't) who the hell is it at the end of each level, some kind of alien with a very strangely shaped head?

  • The "alien" at the end is supposed to be a mineworker wearing a helmet with flashlight.

  • @kainvaljaots I'm gay, so why do you use the word gay ;)

  • @shairaptor nothing personal, just the colours of the activision logo, never noticed the "rainbow" before :)

  • @kainvaljaots hehe, ok, no harm done. And yes, that is indeed kinda gay-related, agreed! :)

  • Looks like it's practically impossible to blow yourself up with the dynomite.

  • wow, I don't remember getting this far!

is there anyone who knows if this game is to download somewhere?

would loooove to play it again!

  • Y played HERO when i was a child!!!! I Didn´t know this level!!!

  • MSX version is so much easier than the 2600 version. Maybe Ill do a TAS to demonstrate...

  • This and boulderdash on the msx ruled !

  • H.E.R.O. on the MSX was one of my favorite games. Thanks for posting it.
