actualyl for teh boulder part its not about button smashing its abotu button mashing to leon's footsteps (when the button on teh screen is getting pressed) when i do the boulder i press teh button when the button on teh screen goes down and i make it everytime

I just managed to beat it in 1:54:17 today. personal record. it's my b-day so I'm pretty happy. just conserve ammo by not killing every last monster, don't go after extra stuff like costumes, dead hunter room etc. don't fight Mr. X until the final battle (scenario 2) and just go as quickly as possible. it's pretty simple if you know yer way around the game.

well, for those of you who keep getting killed on the boulder part, I have a tip, try to keep your hand as relaxed as possible, that way your muscles don't get all jammed up when your trying to smash the x button, another thing is start pressing x before you need to so you can try to "warm up" your hand before going fast

Well i guess it's opinion or what you play best with, but i'd say the button pressing is harder, even though I prefer GC controls. Wii edition does have some other things made easier aswell, like you can move your crosshair quicker and easier.

Hey Nouge is it easier on the boulder bit with wii where u shake the remote or the PS2 and Gamecube versions where u button smash because I keep getting fucking cheaped on that boulder in pro mode that Nathan kept dieing on, so I just wanted to know which is easier because I am planning to get RE4 for wii!

Probably the best idea i've had and played is pro mode, no upgrades-handgun handcannon and minethrower only (which is made harder by the fact theres not alot of ammo for either) no grenades. Try it. I can't say 4 is my favourite though... Mines probably remake or 2

I agree, no upgrades is really fun, oh and that challenge, well anyway, about that challenge, i'm going to make one exception about that handgun only stipulation, i'm going to use a rocket launcher on verdugo because it's just too hard to fight with a handgun, but i finally got to the regenerators and the iron maiden ( spikey regenerator) and i can knife both of them without the ditman glitch,

Well you should fight him, he gives you one of the parts to the crown, which when you make it complete, you can sell it for 45000, plus he's not that hard to kill if you use the prl 412 or rocket launcher on him

Yeah i knew what his right hand was, but i never fight him, he's much easier, and quicker to keep running around the power room and just timing dodges right. I don't think I've ever actually bothered beating him

the verdugo is basically salazaar's "right hand" you know the big scary thing that attacks you when you go into the sewers, the thing where you can only hit it in like one spot it's hard to kill unless you have the p.r.l. 412 or a rocket launcher lol

Hey i'd like to see that challenge marine, sounds pretty awsome. I just played the best challenge ever with one of my mates, I did Resi 2 Claire B knife & Sparkshot only no first aid sprays. It might sound a little let down with the sparkshot, but it was cool cos everything fit into place at the right time.

I don't know if i can brag about this or not, but I literally just beat saddler with a handgun and auto sniper both unupgraded, and just the ammo in the cartrages and 7 first aid sprays, i also used the two barrels and i hit him with both rail things on the sides of the docks, i still had 3 shots left with the sniper rifle and i used the specail rocket launcher, i also climbed him, i didn't get it on video, but i would like to see you guys do it, not like i'm issueing a challenge or anything lol

ill tell ya something, its too easy to do a knife fight only in RE4 because the knifes are actually usefull in RE4. you can knife the chainsaw guy, almost all bosses, and a few diferent things you can use. good job Nouge and Nathan.
