I think the lobster's becoming aware of the heat. I'm old enough to have seen much change. I've traveled enough to have a broad overview of cultures. I've been in nearly every town in the U.S. and much of Canada, Mexico and so my perspective on our economic crisis is less dramatic than what the media hypes. In other words, we have enormous resources here in our country. We have the knowledge. What we lack is leadership. We need a plan to reinvent our economy and the means to connect to people.
People are the corporations, fool. What type of business provides the largest portion of the jobs in this global society? Do you think that almost anything we have right now in the U.S. or around the world would be possible without them? Corporations form the largest part of the global economy and the economy is literally what causes the human race to function, trade, and prosper.
@Salt231 I don't think that Field McConnell is ignorant of corporates roll in jobs and how the system works. What he is attempting to point out is what happens when money and power corrupt within. You can ether take it on faith, disagree for any reason of your choice, you can dig up the facts yourself or even verify his. If nothing else, at least look into it. Ignorance is bliss but knowledge will set you free.
@Salt231 Julius Cesar thought so and so have many wealthy men and women. But big difference in corporations that pay fair wages and don't farm jobs elsewhere. I don't blame the corporation ether. The responsibility is the working mans and the consumers. We need to take back control of production by competing in a different market and trading with ourselves. Import much less and create jobs that offer livable wages or better. What we have is legalized slavery here and in China.
@OurSickSadWorld I read a thing once that said socialism will only work if it is world socialism...right now its world capatalist. But if the world is socialist who will starve? what group of people with run out of resources? who wont be able to follow passions and help mankind with education they would be able to recieve? Democracy would flow through communities and be guided by the common interest of liberty from false scarcity and fatal competition...Is that too socialst?
Notice how Field regularly wears that symbol of Ahura-Mazda of the Zoroastrian religion. Reminds me nicely of the ultra powerful House of Aldobrandini which pion David Rothschild recently married into for status like the Medici's did with the other powerhouse called the House of Orsini.
@AndrewRyanJD Right now there are no countries in most of the World we know since the early 1930s. This is because they've been put under 'Code & Rule' under the Uniform Commercial Code of 1933 & Admiralty Law (Vatican Canon Law of 1984). All military-industrial-pharmaceutical-educational complex is commanded by the Knights of Malta through the Crown. So for instance the military is commanded through The Worshipful Company of Fuellers and education through The Worshipful Company of Haberdashers

Welcome Field McConnell, Minister of Disinformation. Lobbyists subvert Govn't? Govn't too intrusive? No kidding. Which party deems itself as a wholly owned subsidiary of corporations & are proud of it? Ray-bublicans. PT has right wing conspirators & paranoids, lefties & then there's McConnell, who conveniently combines them. He's trying 4 the Zeitgeist crowd Jarad Laughner was a big fan of Zeitgeist. With the internet at your fingertips Y believe in quick fix Alex Jones politics?
I have been reading "A People's History of the United States" by Howard Zinn and a constant pattern in the book is that big business and government can ill-treat and be unjust and the people cannot really put up opposition. You're a loon. Government regulates, corporations try to change regulations to their advantage. get rid of the regulations, they go about there business. It's all corrupt.
@takadi And why should they not? You actually want the government to control what a corporation does with their time and money? I have news for you,it's NOT the governments money...it's private and the government has NO business taking it.
@atheistami ... Oh BS,what do you think elections are for? Limited government is what this country was built on.Now we have a goverment that is the largest employer in the country. @kd8ux Elections?? Is that a joke. The corporations own most of the elected officials, i doesnt matter who you elect , republicans or democrats, all are owned and run by the corporations. why do you think that evey where you look pubic and private workers are all having to do twice as much work as they used to and then they are only getting half the pay. Yes the government is the problem, but only because the corrupt, greedy ,immoral corporations run them.
@atheistami you must be some sort of wild eyed left wing extremist. You are on such the wrong path. Corporations are made up of millions of people working for a living. The government corrupts not the corporations. Why don't you try NOT watch MSNBC for a while so your brain recovers. You sound like a mind numbed robot.
@kd8ux why dont you google the meaning or the word corporation you foolish nitwit. What you are talking about is unions . Corporations are greedy entities that will do anything , and i maen anything to ensure the profitability of the corporation. Even if that means firing every person they employ in the us, and hiring nothing but chinese worksers to ensure their bottom line. And you are they one who is the robot.
@atheistami Yeah Like I am the one who needs to use google. And yes if it means firing all the workers and moving to a country that wants jobs and insures profit, then more power to them. Unions have destroyed most of the manufactoring in this country . Corporations have a right and a duty to make a profit. Not too mention they are the risk takers. They employ millions of American workers and fight to stay profitable despite over regulation and VERY punishing taxes.
@kd8ux Awesome so your all for the usa becoming a third world country. Because that is what is going to happen when the corporations take all their so called jobs to other countries> Countries where they pay people slave wages, people make so little they cant afford to feed their families wages that the corporate greed barons pay them. Dont you worry though eventually they will offer you a job again, just so long as your willing to work for 25 cents an hour too.
@kd8ux All unions ever did was get the average person a fair wage for fair work performed. Unions created the middle class in this country, something that it is soon going to lose. Whe the states is a third world country , like you want you will barely be able to feed your family while the corporate ceos , the new royalty ,buy diamond jewelry and rolex waches. I dont need to go to venezuala because in a few years, north america will be the same as them. Im not jealous, i dont believe in slavery. Very soon the corporations will create 2 classes, the very rich corporate ceo's [the new american royalty] and the very poor [every one else].
