The question is, when they interviewed Corzine, did they play a full ad praising Christie and another full ad attacking Corzine? I suspect not. Fox might, but CNN wouldn't.

@ihofaerefa That's a good question! I'm not one to complain too much about liberal bias (despite my highly voted comment above). I happen to prefer "fair" to "balanced." Ultimately the source for truth doesn't fall on a linear spectrum. George Orwell wrote a must-read paper called "Politics and the English Language" which really spells it out. I think left and right wing media are needed because I want to know what both think. But neither will give you the truth, just their own spins.
Orwell's conclusion was that you will only get the truth from third parties. My ideal source for news is something like Reason Magazine, or the Cato Institute, which release heavily documented reports. But usually I watch Fox and used to watch MSNBC until my cable dropped it (I moved). When they say things I find interesting I immediately hit the internet to fact check them.

The question is, when they interviewed Corzine, did they play a full ad praising Christie and another full ad attacking Corzine? I suspect not. Fox might, but CNN wouldn't.
MSNBC is ridiculous, as is Fox, but CNN is pretty liberal based on surveys of their staff.

@ihofaerefa That's a good question! I'm not one to complain too much about liberal bias (despite my highly voted comment above). I happen to prefer "fair" to "balanced." Ultimately the source for truth doesn't fall on a linear spectrum. George Orwell wrote a must-read paper called "Politics and the English Language" which really spells it out. I think left and right wing media are needed because I want to know what both think. But neither will give you the truth, just their own spins.

Orwell's conclusion was that you will only get the truth from third parties. My ideal source for news is something like Reason Magazine, or the Cato Institute, which release heavily documented reports. But usually I watch Fox and used to watch MSNBC until my cable dropped it (I moved). When they say things I find interesting I immediately hit the internet to fact check them.

What you dont understand is this: When big business does well in the US, they reinvest that back into their business which creates job, expansion of the business.
Go to an economics class. Big business is good.

@2204Alpha. I wrk in the auto industry. I teach automotive technology & am fully aware of what tanked GM & Chrysler. It wasn't bcuz of unions, it was bcuz they weren't making cars Americans wanted 2 buy. Now look at GM under their new CEO. He gets it. Americans want QUALITY cars that get good gas mileage & don't fall apart. Period. GM "WAS" the largest employer in the U.S., & during that time they had record union members & the middle class was thriving. Want 2 debate the facts? I'm ready.

@2204Alpha. U think all big business "re-invests" & thats what creates jobs here huh? Lol. U don't know WTF ur talking about. "Big business" is all about MAKING A PROFIT. If u were ever an employer, like I am, u might have an understanding. U can't trust "BIG BUSINESS" 2 do the moral thing. U know? Like not tanking the economy like the "BIG BUSINESS" of the FINANCIAL MARKETS & WALL ST. did? Huh? Ring a bell sonny? The fact is, "BIG BUSINESS" doesn't give a chit about U.S. Its all about the money
