this is powerful, beautiful and sad.... Women of the world keep fighting for your body, your rights and your babies! Bring back midwifery lead care world wide.
"The planet can't handle so many people with an impaired ability to love living on it" is SO TRUE! Someone just shared this vid with me on TwitR and as Environmental Scientist, I do believe there is a connection between the "disconnection" humans have created FROM their environment and the problems we face today ~ We are the most unhappy, obese, greedy, tired, overworked and stressed people in the history of mankind. We need to re-connect. We need to educate others so we can have peace again.
Is there a group of holistic natural child birth people in uk, in the South West of UK? My wife is pregnant and a raw and living food beautiful being and healed herself of diabetes!! She and I are in the midst of creating our water birth in natural setting but we are harassed by NHS and we want some support and help. Thanks for writing directly to me at Peterchin2 at btinternet com
while so few know about the work of the Mother of Holistic Medicine, Dr. Gladys T. McGarey continues to advocate the need for natural, gentle birthing process. In western societies it seems women have forgotten not only the purpose of having a baby. We human mammals no longer know our responsibility toward the human race. We sell our souls to gain more possessions yet we care not for the children we chose to have others deliver. We care not about the growth of those we bring.
Why so much talk about the blurring of the body parts. Its the message here that is so important, not the political agenda of gender. This is such an important message, and something we desperately need to attend to if we are to have a peaceful and loving world where we see each other as humans, not body parts. Additionally, there is much to say about modesty, an important feature of human sensitivity that has now long been ignored in favor of sexual sensationalism.
How can you advance the rights of women and birth when we are still blurring female nipples and vaginas in birth scenes in a movie advocating for women's health rights???? Oxymoron. Nothing will change unless we normalize what is considered "dirty, vulgar, and inappropriate"
I have had the pleasure of going to Bumi Sehat in Ubud Bali many times while traveling with my young children. It was seeing the work done her along side the birth of my own children that inspired me to train as a Doula and begin birth work. Robin and her family and those at the birth center in Ubud have had a profound affect on my life and my healing with out even knowing it. I have endless gratitude for showing me a gentle way to birth, learn and heal. I am overwhelmed with Love and Reverence!
@LotusBirth Probably because it detracts from the subject. If guys are getting stiffies when they SHOULD be paying attention some one might accuse the message of being pornographic in some way. Cuz ya know..nipples are like only meant to be provocative to men and stuff.
what a beautiful clip. I had a home birth with my 3rd child and the experience was unparalleled to what I was put through in a what I had were, 2 standard hospital births.
The greatest calling of all is helping new lives enter into this world without crisis and in a state of peace. I too was called to this natural birth movement. I'm a home birth Momma and natural childbirth educator, as much as I love the difference it makes for the Mommas the difference it makes for the baby who is entering into it's new life is unmatchable! Let us bring our children into life encircled in LOVE not FEAR!
