Hell, I'd argue that yuri doesn't even count in this particular case since the sterotypes between lesbian and gay men are very different, especially in countries with strong patriarchal traditions (ie. Japan). The fact of the matter is if the homosexual in question isn't being used for fanservice than they usually aren't included - or if written in, then it tends to be in a flamboyant manner as to provide for comic relief. It sucks, but it's true.
