Supposedly, in an interview band leader Isaac Slade said that he made up the name but later found out that it was in the middle of the desert in Texas.

usually the glamourous singer (i don't want to tell names,but...spears&Co.) sing pretty nice on the stage,but horrible in the studio with no voicesoftware etc. isaac slade and joe king can do a great job on stage AND in studio. i love you:)
They were trying to get him to change up the lyrics if I understood it correctly, not that he didn't remember them. Sounds pretty good. Hope to see it at the AMA's!
