In most countries where circumcision used to be prevalent, people stopped circumcising when insurance companies dropped the procedure. It's an issue of money. However, you have to realize that in the media and in society, uncut guys are made to feel like shit by people that point and go,"eewwwww". An example would be Nicole Richie's comment about uncut guys, and Matt's (Nip/Tuck) ordeal about being uncircumcised. Anti-circ attitudes are not the one's being seen in the media.
The problem though is that it's hard for the common person to change their opinions about something if they don't feel like something is wrong. In most countries where circumcision used to be prevalent, people stopped circumcising when insurance companies dropped the procedure. It's an issue of money. However, you have to realize that in the media and in society, uncut guys are made to feel like shit by people that point and go,"eewwwww". An example would be Nicole Richie's comment about uncut guys, and Matt's (Nip/Tuck) ordeal about being uncircumcised. Anti-circ attitudes are not the one's being seen in the media.

The problem though is that it's hard for the common person to change their opinions about something if they don't feel like something is wrong. A man that is happy with being circumcised will probably also cut his baby. You obviously differ from this scenario, but most cut men will cut their baby boys if they feel good about being circ'd. But when in the minority, you dont have the advantage of spitting back with fire, since there is a bias towards cut penises in the majority.
