  • Listen to 5:59 "What a gay fighter."

  • Best lightweight ever, and one of the toughest fighters ever, would fight anyone! Moved up to Middlweight to fight Hagler when not even Leonard or Hearns would!!!

  • Hearns had a great right hand. But my argument would be Hearns's power wasn't the same when he moved up in weight. Duran was still knocking out the best when he moved up. Plus technique wise, his right is unmatched. Maybe's trinidad's right is up there with his.

  • In a fight like this one, should the boxer die or be badly hurt, his family ought to be due compensation payable by the referee, who furthermore has to be imprisoned for professional incompetence. The muppet in here should have stopped it in the 10th, that was a very long count on the second knockdown. He definitely should have stopped it in the 14th, with Bizzaro on queer street, and the fact that the fighter was unconscious in the ring after getting up proves that.

  • @Smythy7 Roy Jones is the undisputed #1 Pound for Pound fighter

  • COULD DURAN BEAT PAC MAN?

  • durans a bumb watch round 7

  • durans a bumb

  • You see the problems Duran has with a guy that moves and can box... I thought Bizzaro was doing a fine job of boxing... and he's not even as talented as Duran, Leonard, Hearns, and other fighers that came later.

However, the movement and jab were giving Duran problems... Leonard presented a better, talented version of what Bizzarro was attempting.

  • bizzarro is my grandpa

  • so bwfchamp96 is ur cousin? ummmm

  • El árbitro Waldemar Smith era un árbitro cruel, la verdad.

  • bizzarro was 24-0 and ended his career 34-2 hes my grandpa

  • Wow, Duran looks impossibly proud, frightening and fearsome but as a criticism of him he became discomposed. Anyway as soon as Bizzaro slowed down and Duran had him in front of him it was a terrible massacre. Bizzaro looks dead on the canvas.

  • Duran just had the look of a fighter! even in old age there was still a mystique & fear he would instill. Even Joppy said he avoided all eye contact with the over the hill Roberto during the ref's instructions.

  • Was Duran knocked down in the fourth round? It looked like Lou caught him with a straight right in the middle of a Duran uppercut.

  • it looked like a knockdown but I feel the ref called it correctly and just resumed the action.

  • Duran tripped over Bizzaro's feet.

  • absolutely.

  • I always said Duran had the best right hand ever. B U T ful, he is truly is an artist. He painted a very good picture in this fight.

  • @demnice

No way, Tommy Hearn had the best right hand ever.

  • some people before this fight were comparing lou bizarro to a young sugar ray leonard,,

  • lol dumbass

  • congradulation you just made one of the stupidess comment i ever read.

  • Manos de Piedra never fought Foreman... different weight classes.

  • ur a spastic, duran never fought foreman lmao!!! Foreman was like 4 stone heavier?

  • more like 14 stone :P i think he was about 9 stone heavier around about 18 stone.

  • That ref sucks.

  • duran was the best

  • The ref was an idiot.

  • i agree los005.

  • it sounds like shit.

  • Was the ref trying to get this guy killed?

  • The ref was an idiot but what about his own corner? Why didn't they throw in the towel? Could have been trgic..

  • Not too many fighters get that kind of power in their punches, like Duran did as a lightweight. Those shots look awesome, from both hands.

  • "HANDS OF STONE" Its too bad this Duran didn't face Leonard, Hearns, Hagler. This Duran knockouts Leonard and Hearns. Outboxes Hagler.

  • its just not possible duran obviously will decrease hes abilities by moving up in weight thats why was so great fighting toe to toe with those guys

  • well Duran clearly beat Ray Leonard in their first fight 1980 in Montreal ...

  • Duran clearly beat Leonard in 1980, when Leonard was in his prime.

  • Oh My God! that was a heinous beating! Now that was the real Roberto Duran! this Duran was the greatest most accomplished lightweight in the history of the sport. So great in fact that he could of even jumped to 147 and give any of the all time greats in that division a run for their money.
