You are right, Charlotte shelby did kill Taylor because she was afraid that she was going to lose control of her daughter who at the time was making one million dollars a year.

I believe that the killer was Charlotte Shelby (Mother of MMM) After The Murder, Charlotte Shelby may have changed Clothes in the Offace that She kept in Down Town L.A.

I agree lamita, I just don't think that she did it. The book, " A cast of killer" and a few of the LA police thought she did, but I am not convinced. Read Bruce Long's Taylorology for more good stuff on this murder.

After reading Mr. Higham's book...I don't think MMM killed him, I'm sure she lied though.

MMM = crazy. I read Hingham's book murder in Hollywood. He's convinced that MMM did the deed.

Mr. Highams main source was George Hopkins, not someone who would be fair to Minter, considering the fact that, by Higham's own admission the two hated each other, and by the time Higham talked with Minter she had already lost it. His book is good if you want to know about Taylor and Hopkins, (apparently they were lovers, at least according to Higham and Hopkins himself.) But Higham is far too biased. Besides as explained int Bruce Long's wonderful Taylorology WDT's Killer was likely male

Unfortunately... everyone's career was ruined after that... MMM became a recluse, and was horribly obese when she died.

No one will ever know what was said between Mary and Mable, but I agree, I don't think it is the version that MMM is sharing on this video. I sure wish someone would write a good biography on her. I know that she had a half brother that she was in touch with. Would love to know who the man was that she left her estate to and did he ever give an interview?

Poor MMM-what happened to the adventurous passionate girl who could fly airplanes and had such great talent and intelligence and beauty that the death of WDT put her in limbo for the rest of her life? Somehow I do not think that this is the true conversation - although it is documented that a conversation between MMM & Mabel did occur at that time.

how do you know she was crazy? Maybe it did happen,they did say there was a relationship and she was not a nut before Desmond's death,she was actually intelligent. Also, she lived a secluded yet social life amongst her friends.
