i got a fender starcaster starter pack my strap did the same

You know you can throw that guitar in the air and dont catch it and it will be ok. You can actually do it several times without breaking your guitar. most guitars is actually very solid.

I was at school and I let one of the other guys play with my guitar, the strap came loose and almost dropped XD thank God the guy who I let hold it caught it before it went crash landing
