  • ....and rolls in fox sh*t

  • Blimey, your one eats grass too.......

  • Think your problem may be that she's only a year old! They're a very sociable breed... sometimes too sociable and don't always sense danger!

We take ours out where there are plenty of open fields away from roads. That way, you can always be looking around for other dogs.Take it, you also have a pocket full of treats to keep her close? Practice in the house... sit/stay/come/treat.

Don't worry... our two are not that obedient and they're only off a lead where it's safe.

  • i got a question for u guys i got a whippet called sky she hates being alone but when she gets the chance to go out she has to run away shes a year old now but how do i go about training her to not need a lead so she can run about on her own accord cause im afraid she wont come when i call

  • @crab0309 Hi mate, personally i wouldnt let mine off a lead unless i was in a securely fenced area/field. I trained my whippet, buddy, to respond/recall to a dog whistle (as he has a hearing impairment) and he got a treat everytime. he is only six month old and i found this worked for me every time. Its their nature to run off (especially when theyve sighted a chase).

  • Yep, I see the grass eating... Luna too!!! OMG- Luna does the same rubbing thing--What is that all about? Great video!

  • Yes - anything remotely smelly and grubby - Betty wants to roll in it!Cow manure is her absolute favourite! Thanks for your kind comments DeniaGirl.
