One trick at he witch .When you are standing on a ledge and you see a witch and she is blocking you're way here's how to trick the witch.Shoot her and walk forward and hang on the ledge.Then she will retreat like killing someone .she will not mention you. Power shot is a bug that was fixed not too long ago in the PC version, where a player could effectively fire the entire clip of their Assualt Rifle in one shot. I'm not sure exactly how you could do it, but I think it's in the L4D wikia somewhere in the assualt rifle section.

As far as I'm aware this bug isn't fixed on the 360 version.

@DrPaulando to do it get pistols out (or pistol) and hold meele and switch to your machine gun (assault or sub) and hold down fire button as well but dont let go of the meele and after about 5 seconds (guarantee) release melle button and your entire mag has been emptyd in a split second

No, it doesn't increase the chance of witch being startled. Witch reacts to proximity and does not behave differently when multiple players come close, as opposed to a single player coming close. Since the first guy was clearly able to stand up on the dumpster without her noticing, everybody could have easily climbed up, then made a dash past her at the same time.

She only triggers due to proximity when she's actually standing up and screaming, so she wouldn't have been a problem.
