Birds bring such joy to our lives. Videos like this are beautiful. Videos like "ted nugent doves are food" and "the day ted nugent killed all the animals" makes you wonder about some people who can't just appreciate the birds and leave them alone. So sad to hear about the thousands of dead birds. Thanks for posting this AMAZING clip!
that's kind of a random assortment of birds. First you have the typical backyard things- cardinals, robins, and bluebirds, and then, all of a sudden, there's a great kiskadee!
Scarlet Tanagers aren't that easy to spot...even though I was lucky enough to see one in my yard...The prettiest bird I have ever seen was a red headed wood pecker.
To whoever took or compiled these -- there are lots of "birds-on-a-stick" photos out there, but these are special because of the beautiful, natural backgrounds and surroundings. Very nice.
If interested, you can listen to the song of my male straw-tailed Whydah. YouTube doesn't allow posting URL's anymore so you'll have to search for it on my channel titled "Singing Pet Bird - Straw-tailed Whydah... 'El Gran Caruso'"

Typical backyard things? Very atypical to me and others, I'm sure!

I happen to live where the Cardinal is the
state bird. Kentucky. They sing their
little hearts out.

The red-breasted grosbeak, the scarlet tanager and the northern cardinal are great!
