I know this game gets its cock sucked a lot of the time and while I love it for the flawed beauty that it is, this level just reeks of poor design. It would have been much better if Wander could pick up multiple sticks but with just one it is incredibly easy to screw yourself out of the fight. Couple that with a dark arena, imprecise control and Wander's incredibly slooooww recovery time make this fight more frustrating than fun

The goal of the protagonist, Wander, is to resurrect a girl he loves. In order to do so, he journeys to the Forbidden Land. Upon entering the Shrine of Worship (the center of the game map), Wander learns from a disembodied voice that the girl can be resurrected if he slays the 16 colossi lurking throughout the land. The colossi are the only enemies and the sole focus of the game. SotC's premise is very simple and masterfully shapes raw character emotion into a work of art.
