I had this phone and I found it to have excellent reception compared to the cruddy Huawei U7510 that I had before. I have found Nokia phones to be much better at picking up a signal when compared to the competition. I have a Nokia e63 which has brilliant signal. But when I hold the phone the way you are holding it, yes, the signal obviously drops.
I could hold that phone in my left hand with out any bar drop what so ever, like most other phones. You're holding the top of the phone. I don't know anybody who holds there phone in that way unless it's some strange Asian traditional method? Your test is still not representative because nobody holds it in that way sugar.
The difference with the iPhone 4 reception problem is that for the Nokia, the way you demo holding the phone is not a normal way to hold a handphone when takling on it. However, for the iPhone4, the problem happens when you hold the phone in the normal way. That is why no one complains for the Nokia phone.
LOL you need to almost cover the entire phone to achieve the same effect that in the iPhone, the iPhone antenna signal problem is with the tip, THE TIP of the finger
you're not holding it naturally like I would an iPhone 4 in my left-hand so this test is not representative. You've just wrapped your hand all over it duh..
mine didn't do that

@amb1networks he called me "dummy" for making a not-so-dumb observation. I hardly thank him for it.
