Ok looks like regular turbo system to me. This is a stupid commercial. Re-inveting the wheel?? I think so. Hey lets re-name a the supercharger to "EcoCharger while we are at it.
direct injection. most ecoboost engine's will not have the twin-turbo. A 3.5L V6 Ecoboost engine will produce 275hp, the TT will get 365hp. I think they could get more out of it but w/e.
Neither me nor my family have ever had any problems with a ford engine. Btw, my father says that his '76 Grand Prix was the worst car he ever owned, problems 10min. out of the parking lot.

The difference is that it's a Ford engine. Which means it will inevitably be recalled or burst into flames in your garage and set your house on fire.

because not many engines sold in the u.s. have turbochargers or direct fuel injection
