@somewhatlongdong You hit the nail on the head! Routines are the same: Box of wine, check. Sarah Palin, whatever "it girl" at the time, check. P jokes, check. She used put so much effort and intelligence into her routine. I noticed a decline when she started getting more fame from her show. She's def. about the publicity and it's kind of like she sold out. Her material is safe, she won't go there. It's like when one of your friends starts sitting at the popular kid's table and forgets about you!

She's always been a publicity whore (which we all know), so I have no idea what is going on with her. She was in Sydney a month ago and it was HILARIOUS. I think this has to do with Bravo's editing, they cut it down from a 2 hour show to 45 minutes.

@SebastienCade I saw her uncut performances and it's the same. Plus I've seen her live 3 times, 2005, 2006, and 2010. Her act is really gone downhill. It's not edgy anymore, she plays on safe material. Her mom is cute but the box of wine thing is old. Kathy's really trying to "brand" herself, she doesn't have to do that by selling out tho. I wish she would go back to the drawing board like her old acts. Her acts have always been about celebs but then she was on the outside looking in.

@SebastienCade I love Kathy don't get me wrong but Sandy B. is right, her specials are repetitive. I still enjoy her 'cause she's Kathy but it's disappointing. I don't want to say it's lack of effort but it feels like that. I don't think she even knows that her specials aren't what they used to be.
