Thanks reyhanaslan for the title and for the names of this awesome duo, (x gipsy200: los turcos no son arabes...) both very talented and she is so beautyful.....
The English word guitar, the German gitarre, and the French guitare were adopted from the Spanish guitarra, which comes from the Andalusian Arabic قيثارةر qitara, itself derived from the Latin cithara, which in turn came from the Ancient Greek κιθάρα kithara, and is thought to ultimately trace back to the Old Persian language. Tar means string in Persian.

originally this is Turkish folk song from Kerkük.It's blended with flamenco by the twins Öykü and Berk. There are couple of versions.. one of them sang as "arabesk" style by İbrahim Tatlıses...another one which is the original version sang by Abdurrahman Kızılay...my favourite is flamenco style ..good job :)
I am from Andalucía, Spain. I love Flamenco. I just discovered this video and there's no word to say...it`s incredible!! Any body knows the name of the group?? Any body agrees to name Flamenkish??
@flamencoguit Encantado, Flamencoguit.
I am Spanish. Neither Turkish nor Arab and I like her flamenco-ish turkish version. Congratulations to them both. To you ALL purists (and stupid nationalists) out there. Some of the greatest cultural pieces have come from fusion. I am happy that they decided to take the flamenco style from my homeland and give it a slight Eastern Mediterranean twist. Sounds great.
Spanish flamenco is not Arabic or Turkish, this video is a lie and is worthless.
@Quimancho el flamenco is arabic(arab spanish influencing each other)as the turkish music and singing has much to do with the arab music(and the other way arround)!once upon a time everyone wanted to be like an arab)now some try to distance themselves..but still the arab influence cant be denied))muchas gracias for ur appreciation to music n culture, regardless nationalities)
Nothing important to talk about this video. Turkey has long way to go to create and establish a culture . If you take out Persian language , Arabic and some other foreign words from Turkish not much will remain to call it "a language". Music literature art is the same . Read the history and you will find out disservices that ottomans have caused to the world culture which continues up to this day. Being proud nation means nothing.
