  • what is the weight of this build?

  • You dont need a liscense to own a gun, but you need one to carry one. What kind of shit is that? Maby not a liscense, but atleast have a certificate showing you are trained in gun saftey before your allowed to own a gun, that also covers carrying so you can carry it with that liscense also. Im completley against gun control, but Im also against people who dont know shit about the guns they own.

  • @Snapshot290 The Second Amendment is our REAL "gun license/certificate."

  • If you're still running the AFG, try Larue's Tactical Handstop. If you put the hook facing the web of your thumb, it'll keep your hand from moving much more. You could buy them w/ the indexing clips while you're at it :] Also try the BAD-ASS ambiselector for your finger troubles. They offer thin and/or short versions for one side so it doesn't obstruct your trigger finger.

    Very nice rifle!

For the person in CA- you can buy this AR with a bullet button & 10 RD mag.

OR move out of California =p

  • who pinned your surefire flash hider?

  • i like a vertical foregrip better

  • @SurvivorGuy23 " in the USA it must have a 16 " barrel for legal reasons ....oh ya they dont want the crazys hiding them under there jackets and holding banks up ... there for it will have a 16 inch barrel in the State's ... good example the fn P90 was made with a 12 inch barrel for military us but civilian market 16 1/2 in barrel or 16 inch .... same with the fn2000 sporting bullpup rifle with a 20 inch barrel i think

  • @5100mikeb

It has a permanently attached flash hider that brings its OverAll Length to 16 inches, making it legal without any NFA issues.

  • @5100mikeb yeah as we all know bank robbers buy all guns legally and follow all gun laws lol

  • good rifle for afghanistan

  • Whats the difference between a stainless steel barrel and the regular carbon(i think) barrel?besides what its made of lol

  • Nice gun but what gloves are those? I want some now :D

  • get an AFG2

  • @noticalmeff whats that?

  • @jordlind1 Angled Fore

grip 2... Magpul makes them and they dont have high sides

  • is it direct impingement gas operated?

  • i wish i didnt live in california -_______-

  • @000terminator try living in NY

  • if you get a 45 degree offset mount you can still mount a flashlight, that's how I mount mine with an AFG. Also like others have said the rail cover issue can be fixed with an AFG2.

  • Nice setup man, looks good

  • You dont need a license to own a gun.....

  • @fusionstar916

    not in the USA

  • @GunWebsites yes in the usa, here in illinois you need to apply for a foid card through the illinois state police. and they send a physical foid card (firearm owners identification card ) with a picture and everything. and without one of these you can not purchase / own a firearm,or ammunition.

  • @xIUBUNTUIx

that is a state law, not a US law.. when asked a general question, do you expect someone to answer 50 times/?

You are one of the very few states that requires such a thing, so it's hardly a US law

  • @fusionstar916 your brain is not yet fully developed.

  • I'm sure someone has already recommended an AFG2 for your issue with clearance! nice gun!

  • @SurvivorGuy23 nice, think i know what my 1st purchase will be once i get my license. by the way, any chance you would know how much a Noveske AR would cost, bare bones, planning on getting some MagPul and DD accessories :)

  • @SurvivorGuy23 i dont know much about guns but by gas piston you mean the same system that the masada and the 416 house so theres no reliability issues like on regular ar 15s?

  • That's a sweet rifle, have you tried running that angled foregrip all the way back up against the mag? I would think that would be pretty comfortable, that foregrip really has me interested, but love the rifle over all.

  • @SurvivorGuy23 Go with DI. You'll be fine with it.

  • cleaning an AR, especially the bolt, makes it reliable. not cleaning an M-16 makes it stop dead.

  • Why dont people understand that the closer the line of sight of a scope is to the line of the bore that a bullet will take the better. The 2 lines will cross twice. The closer they are the less adjustment there is to make between them. Imagine the scope 1 foot above the bore. If they cross at 50 yards they they wont cross again for a mile and half way in between will be many yards downward adjustment.

  • @Davidautofull agreed, but alot of people set their sights on high mounts for comfortability and fast aquisition purposes so they dont have tilt their head and shoulder the weapon at the same time. What warks for some, doesnt work for others. fortunately the military showed me the "right" way to do things and i love iron sights in an A2 configuration just as much as any other.

  • @SurvivorGuy23

The Ar does not need to be gas piston to be reliable. If you use the right lubricant and use a lot of it the Ar will run for a long time. Look up the article on the BCM Filthy 14. My next AR is going to be built with a BCM 20 inch upper receiver.

High quality parts and proper lubrication will make an AR as reliable as any other weapon.

  • @SurvivorGuy23 i think ak's suck terribly, thats why our military uses m-16's and m-4's instead of them

  • @TheBikefish Ak's do not suck. The U.S. military gives up power and reliability for accuracy when using the m-16. Third world nations give up accuracy for power and reliability. Improvements have been made to both weapons for there drawbacks.

  • I took mine off and went back to the broom stick

  • @SurvivorGuy23

no problems at all with this one

  • maybe a hand stop would work better for you if you don't like the afg.

btw a dark earth rubber cover would look really good on that aimpoint

  • Nice setup for sure,Love all the mods.

The setup Worked well through the windshield :)

I ran the Magpul afg but It just did'nt work well for me on deployment.

I went back to the 3" FG after a few months, thats just my run with it though.

Others may like it more for range shooting but I found it bothersome when snap shooting overseas.

    Great video BTW very informative.

  • Great look at this rifle. Please tell me again what the ambi mag release is?

  • when i first saw the magpul front grip i thought you put your thumb through the hole, which i would like. but now i see that you cant, so im not gonna get one of those,

  • I like the first one better!

  • The AFG 2 will be lower profile and not have those annoying wings. My friend had the same problem with his larue rail, so he took a dremel to the AFG wings and all was good. Nothing wrong with a finger forward grip on the AFG either, that is how I grip it.

  • Do ninjas use this rifle?

  • His gloves?

  • @ALAPINO Nevermind-- caught the "Franklin" tag.

  • Nice rifle!

  • I had the same issue with my AFG at first, with my hand slipping back a little. Then I flipped the "nub" around and realized that it makes it a lot tighter fit for your index finger and middle finger. No more slipping and you no longer have to put a finger in front of the AFG to get that tighter fit. Don't know if you and/or your buddy already knew about that or not...

I also stippled mine lightly with my soldering iron, and it's really grippy now, too!

    S/F

  • would this be a sbr nfa item? because its shorter than 16 inch? or is it just another rifle

  • @shitpickle1128 I think it's either $120 or $250 tax stamp for the SBR.

  • @rotorleopard o yea i know that but would this be a sbr ? or would the fact that the surefire flash hider make it just another rifle?

  • @shitpickle1128 If that isn't permanently attached to the barrel, it would be considered as an SBR.

  • @rotorleopard

    $200

  • @shitpickle1128 if the muzzle device is permanently atttached (ie welded), and brings the overall length of the barrel assembly to 16"+, then it is a standard rifle (NOT sbr).. however, if the muzzle device is removable (ie threaded on), then yes, it is considered an sbr.. remember though, that even w/ an sbr, it is the lower receiver that must be registered as such.. hope i've helped some.. regards..

  • @FTW20ten

    Great answer, thanks !!

  • @GunWebsites anytime.. appreciate your work, so thank you!

  • @shitpickle1128 as i'm watching the vid, i hear him mention the flash hider is permanently attached on this one, so in this case it is NOT an sbr, no extra paperwork required.. gotta love it!

  • stupid question maybe (I'm not from the US).. is this full auto?

  • @thorington

    not full auto

  • @thorington How it's supposed to be full auto when at 4:04 there is only semi o_O

I'm not from US and I can see... Strange huh?

  • the AFG2 should fix that problem

  • those look like good gloves

  • @bubblezq

Franklin - we plan to do a review, we intended to do one that day but forgot / ran out of time

  • Please review the F2000 or the AUG I want to see how a bullpup weapon looks disassembled

  • @srakso2 you do know there are a thousand videos on youtube of them.

  • I'm not a fan of those AFGs, I prefer stubby vertical grips.

  • Nice rifle, are the Larue rails narrower than even the Daniel Defense rails?

  • Cool stick.

  • 8??? Noveske's GOD-TIER AR.

  • nice weapon

  • Is this a new video? I think I've seen this a while ago... at least the title was the same or very similar... sweet rifle though.

  • @coolstuffaddict Looks pretty new, that Magpul grip is pretty new.

  • @coolstuffaddict

More than one of the guys have Noveske's. I think the other vids are of different ones, but I know this rifle (or at least parts of it) have been in many vids already
